Trick or Treat - All Day

Today was Halloween and Fandom Town wanted to contribute to the Holiday. Someone at Town Hall had apparently overdone himself and spread flyers around town with the Trick or Treat route on it. He did have to put them safely on window sills or benches to avoid the small growling vampire pumpkins from trying to roll over them.

After sunset, the route would be lit by torches and if you ran into a troopers, chances were they had swapped their helmet for a scary mask. They were staying clear of the Sheriff just in case, though.

((~~ZOMG, gimme time for the OCD.~~ OCD is up. Wait to comment in threads until the owners have tagged into it. If anyone would prefer to make their own Trick or Treat post and just tag in here with a link for people to follow, that is perfectly fine as well.

Cameron showed up at the gates. He was really starting to wonder about his costume choice, but the straw was pretty war so that was something. "Yo."

Buffy waved her skull-bag at him. "Hihi!"

Cameron grinned at the bag. "Vampire? Nice, hopefully no one will try to stake you."

"Oh, I'll kick their ass if they try," Buffy said cheerfully.

"You're a girl, so I don't doubt it," he agreed easily because that was the Fandom rule.

Ray gaped. "Nice outfit, man."

"Thanks. I see you stole the security's wardrobe," Cameron remarked.

"I had this before he did," Ray protested.

"I don't know, he's a lot older than you are," Cameron pointed out.

"Dude, you have straw in your clothes."

"Yeah, it's pretty war," he agreed. "Okay, also a bit itchy."

Luke jumped before realizing that it wasn't John.

"Hi," he said, waving his gloved hand.

"Yo," Cameron returned the wave and frowned. "Uh, I'm really not sure who you are."

"I'm Luke," the M&M told him. "Um, Skywalker. Hi!"

"Right," he nodded, but kept the obvious remark to himself. "I've seen you in Flight Club. That's a pretty impressive outfit."

Under all of the orange foam, Luke was beaming. "Thank you! What are you?"

There weren't exactly scarecrows back on Tatooine.

"I'm a scarecrow," Cameron replied and reminded himself that Luke might not know. "There's these straw puppets that farmers put on their fields to scare the birds away."

"Oh!" Luke said. "Neat."

Cameron chuckled and shrugged a bit. "It's also a character in one of the more classic movies, The Sorceror of Zo. Have you heard about it already?"

Luke shook his head, making the entire costume shimmy. "No. I'll have to fiind it."

"You should. It's definitely a must," Cameron told him, trying not to laugh at the shimmying M&M.
