Trick or Treat - All Day
Today was Halloween and Fandom Town wanted to contribute to the Holiday. Someone at Town Hall had apparently overdone himself and spread flyers around town with the Trick or Treat route on it. He did have to put them safely on window sills or benches to avoid the small growling vampire pumpkins from trying to roll over them.
After sunset, the route would be lit by torches and if you ran into a troopers, chances were they had swapped their helmet for a scary mask. They were staying clear of the Sheriff just in case, though.
((ZOMG, gimme time for the OCD. OCD is up. Wait to comment in threads until the owners have tagged into it. If anyone would prefer to make their own Trick or Treat post and just tag in here with a link for people to follow, that is perfectly fine as well.

Rosette had a lot of a different chocolate candy bars she was handing out, although she was really eating most of those herself. And she'd discovered TestaMints (http://ship-of-fools.com/Gadgets/Food/015.html), laughed for about an hour over them, and decided what better thing to hand out at a church for Halloween? The lazy man's minisitry, to be sure. And Rosette was definately a lazy man...errr, woman. Nun. Thing.

50 Minotaur Lane was set up with long tables along either side of the walkway leading up to the door. On these tables were very large, multilayered cookies that appeared to have candy scarabs, chocolate gold coins, and other treasure-like candies baked partway into them. Toothbrushes and picks were laid out on the tables as well.
. . . yes, Janice was damn well going to make people work for their candy.
If you caught Janice herself, though, prowling about in her archangel costume with a cigar in her mouth and trying not to get the giant damn wings snagged in the shrubbery, she had a very large bowl of gummi mummy hands and individually-wrapped jumbo Life Savers to give out.
Even though the sign taped to the bowl read, "It's not a Life Saver, it's a chakram (http://www.people.cornell.edu/pages/kda1/chakram.jpg)!"

The movie theater looked sort of dirty and cobwebby. One would think Crow had gotten off his ass and decorated it. But it's actually because nobody had cleaned it in a while. Any moans and groans you might hear? Probably from Joel. And that pool of red stuff on the floor? Even Crow didn't know where that came from. Watch your step.
He was also dressed up like a boy scout. Whether or not this was for Halloween purposes is unknown.
