Caritas - Early Evening - Halloween

Jane is totally decked out in her "Doris Day costume". (Which, amusingly enough, is quite a lot like what she wears normally except a little tighter.)

There is a humongous bowl of little tiny bottles of booze out for the trick or treaters.

The Zombies insist that they are dressed as the members of the band "Phish".

Jane doesn't get it but she's pretty sure that Phish is not the answer.

Marty took the stage. At least this time he wasn't wearing a dress.

Tino is dressed as Tom Cruse and is flipping bottles around like mad.

Watch your head.

Marty and Angela come in and grab a seat at the bar. Marty grabs a drink from Tino and grins. "See? Who needs candy when we have drinks!"

Angela took a sip of her sour apple martini and swallowed gratefully. "Yeah, this is kind of better than M&Ms."

"So you don't mind avoiding the crowd of candy grabbers and still wearing your costume?" Marty asked not-so-secretly happy to see Angela in her outfit again.

"Not really," Angela said. "We can buy candy, right? And maybe we can still hit a couple places after here, if we're in the mood."

She smiled. "I really like that trench coat."

"Yeah?" Marty said preening slightly. "Is it me? Or you think it looks better on that guy from Tell Me Everything?"

Angela hesitated. "You look like him in it," she said, not exactly answering the question.

Marty chuckled at that. "That's a pretty safe answer," he said trying not to stare too much at his girlfriend's shorty-shorts. "But I won't pressure you for an answer."

"You know I like you way better than some random old actor," Angela said, leaning in for a kiss.

"Mmmmm," Marty said meeting her half-way for the kiss. "Flattery will get you everywhere with me."

"I've never, ever noticed," Angela said innocently.

She shifted, crossing her legs. "So Parker wanted to know if the shorts were comfortable."

Marty seemed to be very distracted from the.. um. Legs. Crossing. And shifting.

He blinked and came back to planet earth.

"Um. What did you tell her?"

"That they're my size," Angela said "But I'm cold and ... not really a fashion for November."

Marty might look slightly disappointed at that. "Do you want to cover them with my coat for warmth?"

please say no. please say no. please say no.

Angela took a sip of her drink and smiled slowly. "I think I'm okay. The drink's warming me up."

Marty's grin got a little bit larger at that. "Good. I mean. Um. I'm glad you are warming up. Is it hot in here?"

"I think," Angela said. "that you want to sing to cool down."

"Oh really?" Marty replied still looking at her legs and the way her shirt moves in a certain way that...

Yeah. He's distracted.

"Um. What song?"

Angela trailed her fingers sloooowly over her collarbone. "I did miss assembly on Friday. Can I get an encore?"

Fingers. Collarbone.

...

"I'm sorry what did you say?"

"I said you could sing the song from the assembly for me, if you wanted."

"That's a tall and embarrassing request," Marty said cocking an eyebrow slightly. "If I do sing it what will you do for me?"

Angela leaned in, blushing, and whispered in his ear.

It involved her shorts, whipped cream, and an impressive imagination.

"If you want to," she said, leaning back.

It's amazing how fast Marty can move when properly motivated.

After he sings his song (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomtownies/1181062.html?thread=53652614#t53652614) he's back almost as fast.

"How was that?"

Angela is laughing so hard she's about to fall off the stool.

"Perfect," she squeaks out.

Marty gently placed his arms around Angela to prevent her from falling off the stool.

Not to cop a feel or anything. Really.

"I'm glad you enjoyed my most recent humiliation," he joked.

"Public humiliation is absolutely the very best kind," Angela said.

She wrapped her arms around his neck. "I could sing for you, or we could head back to the dorms?"

Marty leaned in kissed Angela gently on the neck. "Um. I do believe there was a certain offer made in return for me singing?"

And when the snickering had subsided the lovely couple headed back to the dorm for the rest of the evening. What else happened there is none of your business so we'll just [FTB].

Take a load off, trick or treating is hard work.

Little weetiny bottles of booze.

"Trick or Treat." Billy said, dressed as the headless horseman.

"Well, I'll give ya a couple of the little bottles then. Guess you can pour 'em down yer neck..."
