The Fourth Sin [after classes]

Becky stood in front of the Sin, holding her gun and knives right out in the open. She hadn't gone back in to retrieve any more weaponry, which simply made her resent Kevin even more.

So now she was waiting here for That Hot Guy With The Beard, Helpful Tall Kid and Muskrat, since they apparently knew what they were doing when it came to ghosts.

Granted, she was a bit skeptical since they'd had to schedule this after classes.

Yes. Her home? In the hands of high school children. God.

Miho stood beside Becky, watching the Sin with narrowed eyes like she might be able to kill Kevin again with her mind or something. She was no more armed than usual, but this was Miho, so, yes.

"Are you here to fall down the stairs again?" asked Becky flatly.

"I hope not," Angela said. "I'm kind of here to observe and help Sam and Dean if they need it."

Miho predicts Redheaded Girl will fall down the stairs again. Also, if crosses helped, Becky would be the most well-protected thing in several states, including some churches. Miho doubts this is the case.

Sam was pretty sure that they had all the supplies they'd need, but he was still making a mental checklist anyway as he arrived at the Sin.

Dean arrived a few minutes after his brother, duffle bag of supplies and weapons over his shoulder. "Hey, are we ready to kick some ghost ass?" he said in way of greeting.

"Yes," Dean told her. "You got a shotgun?"

Becky held up her semi-automatic pistol. "Nope. They're not practical."

"They are when you're ghost hunting." Dean nodded towards her pistol. "That won't even slow most ghosts down. We've got special ammunition for the shotguns." He grinned. "Rocksalt. Ghosts hate it."

Oh, look, a Hobbity ghost ninja who beat up Charlie Brown for his sweater and Harry Potter for his glasses!

And then ate him.

Kevin had been a busy boy. With no one in the house to attack the place was littered with popped balloon animal carcasses.

Sam made his way inside, looking around carefully for any sign of the ghost. The dead balloon animals were a good hint that he was still here, at least.

Miho followed Sam inside, looking around at all the popped balloons. Well, at least they would be relatively easy to clean up...

Oh, hey, look at that. A ghost.

Kevin was quite content to hide in the shadows until he realized that she saw him.

Without a word he rushed forward towards the group brandishing a knife.

Angela, who had been hovering near the door, took a step backwards. "He's ... he has a KNIFE."

He went after the whore first, running by her and slashing at her as he passed.

He caught her straight across her upper chest and shoulder, and Becky gasped. She staggered back, and immediately slashed right back with the barrel of her gun.

Possibly not the best move, but hey, reflexes.

OK, so:

a) I'm stuck at work until 10:30, which is not news, and b)I don't seem to be getting emailed comments, which is, and which sucks. I'll be checking on this scene fairly often, but please e-mail me if anything important comes up.

Between this and the blackout I seriously think LJ hates this scene.
