The Fourth Sin [after classes]

Becky stood in front of the Sin, holding her gun and knives right out in the open. She hadn't gone back in to retrieve any more weaponry, which simply made her resent Kevin even more.

So now she was waiting here for That Hot Guy With The Beard, Helpful Tall Kid and Muskrat, since they apparently knew what they were doing when it came to ghosts.

Granted, she was a bit skeptical since they'd had to schedule this after classes.

Yes. Her home? In the hands of high school children. God.

Kevin let the blade swing right through him.

And his smile got even broader. Because it was her

He moved forward and slashed at Miho.

Miho dodged the slash and scowled, because this was totally unfair if he could hit her and she couldn't even hit back.

Sam raised his gun and shot towards the spot that Miho seemed to be dodging away from, hoping the rock salt might be a little more effective.

He took the blast straight in the chest. He turned toward the boy with the gun and went straight for the throat trying to strangle him.

Sam's immediate reaction was to reach up and try to pull the ghost's hands away from his throat, dropping his gun in the process.

It wasn't, unfortunately, the first time John had witnessed his son being strangled. Walking right up to them, John aimed the shotgun at the fucker's head pointblank and pulled the trigger.

Kevin's head blew into a mist and his body flew back a few feet before reforming again.

He glared at the man with the gun and charged at him.

John stood his ground and fired the other barrel at the ghost.

His chest dissolved into missed and his body split apart and reformed again.

He shook his head as though trying to clear it and charged after the man again.

Dean had done as they had discussed while making plans the night before and broke off from the group to go and make the preparations they needed. He was just coming back in time to see the ghost charging at his Dad who had pulled out a blade of iron to face it.

"Hey ugly!" Dean called, raising his own shotgun and firing at the ghost, being careful of his angle so he wouldn't hit his Dad as well.

Kevin's body dispersed again and this time it took several seconds before it completely reformed.

He turned towards the other kid with the gun and charged after him.

Miho drew the iron blade John had given her before they went inside and gave chase. At least her opponent running away was something she had experience with.

Dean turned and ran as soon as he had the ghost's complete attention; that was what he wanted after all. He dashed up the stairs and down the hallway towards where they'd set up their trap.

Kevin went after Dean pouring on the high speed when he got up to Dean he made a grab for him to throw him into the wall.

Ghost was frigging fast, Dean thought even as it reached him and grabbed him. He had a split second to wish he had Alec's speed and reflexes and then he was hitting a wall. Hard.

Miho caught up and stabbed Kevin in the back with the iron blade before glancing over to make sure Muskrat was in something resembling one piece.

The blow hit Kevin hard causing him to disperse again, releasing his grip on Dean.

However he was already beginning to reform again.

Stubborn bastard, Dean thought, pulling away from the ghost even before his brain fully cleared. When it did he lingered long enough to make sure he still had the ghost's attention and didn't have to shoot him again to get it, then took off down the hallway at fullspeed.

His destination was the tiny room at the end.

Kevin shook off the effect of the knife stab and ran after the kid following him into the room.

Dean continued running full speed, being careful where he put his feet and stopping only when he'd reached the far wall. He turned and put his back to it, grinning as the ghost followed him, putting it exactly where they wanted it.

"Now Sammy!"

Sam had been carefully following behind, waiting for Dean's signal. When he heard it, he ran to the doorway and pulled the release, sending a pile of salt down to the floor, to complete the circle that Dean had already started earlier. "Let's see how much you like that."

Kevin whirled around looking at the two boys and trying to move past the circle of salt without any success.

Becky, who had now lowered her never-fired gun to nurse her wound a little, said, "...can we throw chips at him now? He's stuck there, right?"

Kevin said nothing and just glared at Becky.

He might have twitched.

"Yep," Dean said with a grin, carefully skirting the circle as he made his way back to the door. "He's completely trapped."
