Today, Caritas is playing both kinds of music.

Mostly, this means Jane has heard the themesong to "Rawhide" over and over for the past half hour.

Somebody please come fix this.

Rosette came in and plopped enthusiastically onto a stool. "Heya, Jane! How goes it?"

Jane looks up and is about to answer as the latest rendition of Rawhide ends.

Then Rawhide starts up again.

"That answer your question?"

Rosette turned toward the band, not quite sure at first what Jane meant until she starts recognizing the tune as the one they had just played. Her jaw hung a little as she stared for a moment, snapping it shut as she turned back to Jane, leaning on the bar. "They been playin' that all night, or somethin'?"

"A yup." Jane said already pouring out a shot for the Sister. "All fucking night."

"Oh, maaaan," Rosette looked a little wide-eyed, shaking her head in sympathy for Jane, and then she saw the shot being poured and her wide-eyed sympathy became wide-eyed excitement. Gotta love a bartender who knew just what to do without even being asked. She chuckled a little. "Maybe I shoulda brought my cowboy hat tonight, huh?"

Jane laughed at that. Possibly a little nervously.

"Or the whole outfit." she said. "But that's alright, I don't think anybody'll hold it against ya."

Rosette chuckled. "Well, if I'd have known... This is just bad planning on the band's part, if ya ask me. But I guess...what'ya expect from zombies, an' all that."

Rosette leaned on the bar, cradling her chin in her hand. "Want I should maybe go up there in a bit and try to sing somethin' else? Just to get it outta your head for a while?"

Rosette had no idea what she could possibly sing, but if she had a reason to be on stage and centre of attention, she was all for it. Even if maybe her singing might not be much better than the repeatative Rawhide.

Rosette bit her lip against another laugh. "If it does come to that, may I suggest the zombies over your own head? I don't think it'd really effect them all too much, but you? Not so much."

She leaned in almost conspicuiously, spoiled by her grin. " 'Less there's something you ain't tellin' us, Jane."

Getting blissfully drunk seemed like a great idea at this point.

Anders was on his way in to the lounge when he saw Bel slamming back drinks. "Holy frak, man," he said, dropping onto the next stool. "It was that bad?"

"Anders!" Bel slurred, smacking him on the back. "Pull up a stool. Oh, you already did. Have a drink then!" He flagged Tino down and ordered two more whiskeys.

"Dude." Anders winced; that slap on the back had kind of smarted. "How many have you already had?"

Bel stared at his drink, his brow furrowed in concentration. "Umm, just a couple? Whatever. Let me buy you a drink." He was about to flag Tino down again when he realized happily he already had ordered two more drinks.

Anders picked up one of the shots of whiskey, shot Tino a warning glare, and raised an eyebrow at Bel over the rim of the glass before he knocked it back. "I'd ask if you want to talk about it, but I think I'd be more confused afterward."

"Phoebe's going to kill me," Bel said solemnly, then downed his shot. "If her sister doesn't kill me first. Dead demon walking!" He spinned his seat and almost fell out of it and had to catch himself by leaning heavily on Anders.

"Dude." Anders gingerly tried to help Bel back onto his stool. "As long as you stay over there and keep your hands to yourself there shouldn't be any killing."
