Empire Records; Monday [ 11/27 ]
Chad was just resting his eyes a lot at work today; certainly wasn't sleeping. Certainly didn't have anything to do with spending all night hitting jello balloons off the roof all night. Such an activity really took a lot out of a guy's eyes. So they needed lots of resting. Something like that.
The soothing new age music he was playing probably didn't help. But it was sooooo relaaaaaxing....
Actually, considering the way his hair fell into place over his eyes and the fact that Chad didn't really move around much in general, most people probably wouldn't even notice.
[[ empire's open; up earlier than usual and with bounts of slowplay through the day as I freak out about super-stressful day, omg, hold me. *wibble* ]]

Jude was kind of dumb sometimes.

His tone, while mellow as always, was tinged slightly with bummed confusion. If one was capable of parsing a truly excellent mellow such as Jude's.

What? He asked.
"Can I help you with anything?"
He was eyeing the skateboard; he could never get into skateboarding because, yeah. He'd snap that little board in half without even having to put his full weight on it, probably.

"What'd'you usually listen to, then?"

He looked thoughtful again. "Um, well...usually, I always suggest classic rock. Doors, Zeppelin, Who...not exactly new, though, those..." Probably. Hopefully.

handwavilypicked up at Jeff God of Biscuits, fully prepared to apologize to Chad. And of course Chad was sleeping. He sighed and put the pie in front of the sleeping figure, writing a quick note before leaving.Teddy

With a grunt and a shake of his head, Chad went into conscious mode again as Teddy was scribbling out his not.
"I smell pie."

"I don't know," Teddy said, trying for casual disinterest. It wasn't working. "They made me come back here before things finished."
no subject
"They ate your cranberry sause," he submitted. "I owe you some." Especially now that Teddy brought him pie.

It took him a minute to figure out what Chad was talking about. "Oh, um, that's okay."
no subject
He scratched the back of his head. " S'it anything you wanna talk about? I work late tonight, but we can tomorrow or somethin' if you want. S'cool, too, if you don't wanna." He could understand not wanting to talk pretty damn well, after all.

He pushed the pie toward Chad. "Enjoy the pie. I'll see you around, okay?"
