It's Apu's turn to choose the Christmas album today...

Today's Christmas Album:
Clay Aken: Merry Christmas, With Love

Jane has discovered the joys of earplugs.

Today's Squishy Flavors:
Red, Snow, Yellow

The "Yellow" is actually pineapple... but for some reason it doesn't taste very good when combined with "Snow".

So don't do it.

"No need for shooting," River said quickly. "But he's not making any sense. He kissed a boy called Jude and when I found out I got angry and stole his fish. Then I kissed someone else and thought about it. It's not really a reason to be angry. So I gave him his fish back and told him I was ok with him kissing Jude, and then I told him about me kissing Jack. Then he got mad at me."

She gave Jane a miserable look. "I thought being psychic was suppsoed to help in these circumstances. Clearly not. So I need paintbrushes."

Jane had no idea what being "psychic" meant... She was pretty sure she was of Irish heritage herself, not that it helped with any of her relations.

"Unfortunately River Girl, two wrongs don't make a right. Let's see about those paintbrushes... They're by the paint now ya know."

"I know," River said. "By the paint." She looked at Jane. "What would you have done?" She considered adding 'apart from drinking'.

"Not... A whole lot actually..." Jane answered with a shrug.

She even hadn't been drinking much... or rather as much. Which was still a lot of drinking, but still was progress in Jane's case.
