Empire Records; Wednesday [ 12/06 ]
Well, it was a good thing the windows were fixed up before the snow. Still a lot of work to do around the store,b ut that certainly didn't stop Chad from taking the time every once in a while just sit and drift off for a bit. He had a lot to drift off about.
He left the bot at home. He hadn't wound it since yesterday, either.

"Hi Chad!"
no subject
He asked just because he wanted to hear the answer.

Okay, possibly "complete collection" didn't quite trip any switches in the Pippi brain.
no subject
"Um, I think you got most of it, Pippi," he told her, a bit sadly.
no subject
Pippi's mun apologizes for not picking up ont the reference."Oh? Well, I guess it was quite a lot." She mused.

Chad's mun forgives.Chad nodded. "There's still a lot of other good bands from that period that are just as awesome," he told her, renewing the hope. Hopefully. "Might have some that weren't damaged by the trolls...."
He was constructing a list in his head, oh yes, of all the great bands of the golden age of modern rock'n'roll to share with Pippi. It would be his glorious crusade.

Nadia exclaimed Chad's name cheerfully, but it was rather muffled by the layers of winter gear.
no subject
It didn't matter that it wasn't his bot and therefor wasn't tuned into his mood. His own bot had traumatized him enough to forget that fact.
no subject
Nadia reached up one mittened hand to push her hat back and stare at Chad, rather shocked.
"Um, sorry? But it's really cold out and I don't want it to freeze. . . ."
no subject
He wouldn't put it against his vindictive little mood bot to get someone to wind it and transport it here to torment him more.
no subject
Muzak peeked out from behind her ankle as she pulled her hat off and opened her coat, revealing the edge of the brace on her shoulder.
"Did you have problems with yours?"
Okay, so she was a bit side tracked, but she liked the little bots, and didn't like seeing people upset by them.
no subject
"Yeah," he grunted, not doing so well on the carefully guarded thing as the grunt was quite noticably annoyed. "A bit."

Chad shook his head. Not cool, man. He just broke up with his boyfriend, and haven't you played sexual preditor to nervous blonde guys enough?
no subject
The bot? Back to playing the Pink Panther.
no subject
"Oh?"
no subject
Get one icicle through the shoulder when attacked by snow monsters, and you're scarred for life. Who knew?
"You have to go talk to Jude after work."
She was grinning. The bot's tune picked up its pace.
no subject
Okay, he was still a little worried. 'Have to talk' was never good. And Chad recognized that Nadia was slightly evil and could be plotting something just as evil as she could sometimes be.
"Well, y'know, I don't get out til after midnight..."
