Caritas - Saturday evening

Tino was being suspiciously nice to GOB this evening. He even prepared a drink for GOB for when he walked into the bar. "A banana daiquiri?" GOB asked suspiciously. "Thanks." It didn't smell poisoned. It didn't taste poisoned. It seemed like Tino was being randomly kind tonight.

"Seriously, this is pretty good. I didn't know you could make them this gooooooooooo--"

GOB slipped on a banana peel and hit his head on the ground. Tino dragged him to the back room and locked it.

Tonight was Shirtless Saturday at Caritas.

[OOC: I will likely not be around much tonight, therefore GOB is passed out in the back room. Please mod Tino. Drinks are half-price if you're not wearing a shirt, but this IS a community post. Ladies, please wear bras. Everyone, please keep things clean. Half-naked, yes, but clean. Don't make me make an admin complaint about myself.]

Drinks are half-priced if you're half-naked.

If you're self-conscious about shirtlessness. Or if you just want the zombies to have a good view of your shirtlessness.

Parker wasn't seriously considering the half-price drink thing. She was, however, wondering who she could talk into stripping for her.

She was also admiring Tino. Because hey, it's been a while.

Clark looked skeptically at the evening's theme.

Harper glanced at the sign, then started pulling his jacket off ~~despite my sad lack of shirtless icons~~. Hey, cheap booze was cheap booze.

Parker snickered, and perched her chin on her fist. Hey, gotta admire the scenery where you find it.

Rosette was honestly considering it. Getting so many free drinks last night helped quell her desire to get the ones tonight half-off, as did the fact that it wasn't exactly easy to go shirtless with a habit. It was either all or nothin' for her.

Clark blanched when Rosette came in because a topless Nun would just be too weird.

El was a bit surprised by the sign out front, but figured, when in Rome.

Stripping off his shirt and jacket, he went up on stage, and played a very fiery and fast tempoed set.

Harper grinned and posed, just a little. "Evening."

"Heyyy." Parker grinned back at him, and signaled to Tino for a refill on her drink. "I haven't seen you around before, I don't think." She cocked an eyebrow. "I would have remembered."

Parker... blinked. And thanked God that Angel was back in L.A. by now.

"Seamus Zelazny Harper, at your service," Harper said. "I run the apartments."

"Parker, appreciative of said service." She grinned, then looked thoughtful, trying to remember. "Did you teach a workshop this summer? I think I heard your name mentioned. Something to do with a bomb?"

Yet it would probably also satiate the fantasies of at least a few particular students.

Rosette caught the expression and tried not to laugh. She did wink, though. "Hey, Four-Eyes. Any half-price drinks for you tonight, huh?"

Hey, hey, hey. Rosette was being a good, respectful nun and paying full price for her way to being smashed, thank you very much.

"That was one of them, yeah, although we did more than bomb building."

Parker, having had her first fake I.D. confiscated by a nun who went out and got drunk on it, has no trust of the breed. She's keeping a wary eye on this one. But so far, at least she's not being... *too* weird.

Parker looked intrigued. "Like what?" She leaned back against the bar, and grinned at the dimples. "Is that what you do for fun? Manage apartments by day, high explosives by night?"

Nadia had quietly ignored the sign out front and headed into Caritas. . . . Just in time to see her dance professor on stage, shirtless.

She kinda just stood there watching for the whole set.

Dr. Venture thought for a second, then took off his shirt. Amazingly today wasn't a speed suit day. How handy for him.

He got a Rob Roy from Tino, who was amazingly trying to not make eye contact.

Walter coincidentally wandered in not long after Nadia and hung back so she wouldn't see him staring at their half-naked Dance teacher.

Because, really... oooh.

After watching El on stage, Walter needed a drink. And taking off his shirt wasn't a terrible thing, so he did.
