Leo has found a Find Fred book, and is seemingly entranced.

Photo Hut is open.

Steerpike paused outside the odd store before entering, wondering just what a photo might be, and why it advertised its home with such a sign.

Again, there was no "help wanted" sign outside, but he didn't allow that to stop him. He stepped in, hands clasped behind his back, head held high, and nodded nobly to Leo. "Good afternoon."

Leo did not answer, he had the look of a man who was either in deep concentration, like a scholar trying to interpret an anchient scroll, or someone who's off in their own little world. In this case populated by dozens of little people all doing something interesting. Distracting him from the object of his search.

Fred.

Here was an individual that Steerpike could be quite certain that he was above in station. He strode forward, then leaned over to place is face much closer to Leo's, probably obstructing part of the book.

"I said good afternoon."

"Woah!" Leo started back. People kept doing that to him lately!

Steerpike smiled a little bit nastily. "Are you back with us, now?"

"I think so man." Leo blinked for a minute. He pushed the book aside, it was too brightly colored and distracting at the moment. "Can I help you?"

"I came to inquire if you were in need of hiring assistance. And I see that you are."

"Oh yeah man." Leo agreed. The chick with the groovy hair hadn't come back yet, and two employees were bound to be better than one right? "Are you looking for work?"

"I am. And while I have no experience with. . . ." he looked around. "Photos, I am a very quick study and a very hard worker."

"That's coo man." Leo assured him. "I didn't know much when I started either." He rose. "Lemme show you around I guess." he said, as if he wasn't sure if that was supposed to be the next step or not.

"That would be excellent. And perhaps you should tell me your name?"

"Oh, sure man. I'm Leo. Pleased to meet you." And he was. Leo was usually pleased to meet everyone. Unless they were the fuzz.

"The pleasure is, I'm sure, all yours, Leo. I am Steerpike. Is there a particular time you would require my services?"

[ooc: Steerpike has no classes on Wednesdays, so that day would work well for him]

Yeah there was no way Leo was gonna remember that name. But Fez was already taken.

"Well let's see, you're a student right, so, when do you not have, you know, classes?"

As he talked, he showed Sheerfike the camera aisle, film and such things. It was a small store.

Steerpike made mental notes of every name he could find on the things on the shelves so as to conduct his own research, as he doubted this man would be able to train him with any kind of effectiveness. "I don't appear to have any classes to attend on Wednesdays."

"Wednsdays'll work fine man." Leo nodded agreably. He then took the boy into the back where the equipment was stored. The chemicals and developing machines, the stock room, which also had several air fresheners, and a bong sitting on a table.

Steerpike was unacquainted with bongs or pot, and thus figured that this was another piece of the esoteric equipment he'd be working with.

The chemicals, though, they excited him.

"This is a very nice establishment."

"Thanks man!" Leo beamed. "You shouldn't have any trouble here, business isn't hectic, which is nice you know?"

"Indeed. Shall I start this week, then?"

Leo blinked. "yeah that's a good idea man." he approved.

"Till Wednesday, then."
