The Devil's Nest, Friday Night

It was Friday night, and that meant half-priced drinks for teachers at the Devil's Nest. The trolls out front held a sign welcoming all the new teachers with cheap alcohol.

Because you had to have something to get through teaching at Fandom High.

Emma looked at the trolls. She looked at the sign. She grinned widely and entered. "Booze, booze, booze," she hummed brightly.

Mazikeen stood in front of the scantily clad woman, raising an eyebrow as if to ask what she wanted to drink.

"The sign says half-priced drinks," said Emma. "A Cosmo, please."

After a momentary pause because nobody ever ordered Cosmos at that club, Mazikeen got to work. She placed the pink cocktail in front of Emma, adding a white umbrella at the end.

Clark noticed Emma people watching. hard not to notice her really. His first thought wasn't actually that there was a good looking blonde wearing not a lot, it was that it seemed little chilly to be wearing so little.

Then came the thought about, good looking blonde wearing not a lot.

Clark smiled back and waved. Then he had to adjust his glasses. Darnit. He really should have gotten better fitting ones.

Clark was frowning slightly as he came into the club. The thank you card Jimmy had sent was a Superman greeting card. Thanks for the reminder Jimmy.

He decided he could use a drink. Too bad nothing ever seemed to get him even tipsy.

"What's the strongest drink you have?" Clark asked curiously.

Mazikeen stared blankly for a moment before making him a Troll. It had a little bit of almost every type of alcohol on the bar.

A little like a Long Island Ice Tea, only much less tasty.

Yondaime headed into the Devil's next once again in search of booze that he can't get at home. He sat down at the bar and nodded to the bartender he remembered from before. "Sake?"

Mazikeen nodded once, turning to grab the requested alcohol before stoppping. "Khold?"

Logan had decided staying at home another night - a Friday night - was just sort of sad. So he made his way down to the Devil's Nest and up to the bar, leaning against it as he thought about what to order.

And Mazikeen was being a good bartender and waited for the order. She rather hoped it would be another Cosmo. Those were fun!

Logan smiled and, since it had been a while since he'd been somewhere with a decent bar but not so whipped that girly drinks were that appealing, he finally said, "I'd like a Manhattan (http://www.drinkoftheweek.com/archive/m/manhattan.htm)."

Emma turned her head to look at the new person, and smiled. "Hello there, stranger."

"Hi," Logan began, then did a slight doubletake - even used to being surrounded by unfairly pretty people, most of them dressed comfortably, or at least less blindingly white. He recovered nicely though, smiling in greeting. "Having a good evening so far?"
