Devil's Nest, Monday
Schrodinger was not concocting new cocktails behind the bar.
Instead, he was messing with the umbrellas.
Beause he's evil.
The Devil's Nest was open.

The Devil's Nest was open.

Bar
Mwaha. Mwahaha.
Talk to Lucifer
Somewhere upstairs, Mazikeen was swearing revenge.
Re: Bar
He desperately needed to keep his father as far away from Fandom as possible. This was not going to be easy, particularly since Mr. Perry was going to be watching his son like a hawk but Neil was gradually forming a plan.
One part of this plan was to see about securing himself a source of income so he could keep the letters home down to a minimum and also so that he didn't extend his father's sense of control over his life but constantly asking his father for money. Also a part time job looked good on the college apps.
So, after flipping through the classifieds, Neil decided to try his luck down at a place called The Devil's Nest. After all, he liked music, liked dancing and they probably had evening shifts which would leave his days free for classwork.
Paper in hand, he found his way -after a few wrong turns- and eventually slid through the front door of the place.
Looking around curiously, Neil slowly approached the bar.
"Umm, Good evening?"
Re: Bar
"Can I help you?"
Re: Bar
Smiling winsomely, Neil stepped towards Lucifer and held out his hand.
"Good evening, Sir. My name is Neil Perry. I'm a student up at the school and I'd like to find some part time work if any is available." Neil was polite and professional, mannerly all the way. "Would I talk to you about an possible positions here or is there someone else I should be asking after?"
Re: Bar
Re: Bar
"Thank you, Sir." The youth smiled warmly.
Re: Bar
Re: Bar
"Err, well I was wondering if you needed some help in the kitchen or busing the tables?"
Re: Bar
Despite, or perhaps because, the boy looked like a small version of Wilson, he just had to tease.
Re: Bar
Neil looked about ready to ask but then he quickly stopped himself and smiled at Lucifer.
"I'm sorry for having wasted your time then, Sir." He said politely and moved to stand.
Re: Bar
Re: Bar
"I'm afraid I don't have any experience bartending. I mean, I've served before at the school cafeteria but I've never mixed drinks."
Re: Bar
Re: Bar
"But I didn't know, I mean...could I learn on the job?"
Re: Bar
"That would be idea, yes," He said slowly. "Mazikeen would be there to help you, if needed."
Re: Bar
"Would the training need to come out of my wages, Sir?" One thing he'd learned from Mr. Perry was how to be direct but polite on the subject of money so that both parties in the contract were clear about the expectations.
....
Wriggle!!!
Re: Bar
"I see no need for that," Lucifer said. "Unless we get customers complaining about receiving the wrong drinks, that is."
Re: Bar
He managed to get the wriggling under control, though his eyes were sparkling with hopefulness.
Re: Bar
"Good," Lucifer said. "You start Thursday."
Re: Bar
According to fangirls everywhere, yepNeil's bright smile beamed at Lucifer and he just managed to keep himself from bouncing over and hugging his new employer. This was going to help solve a lot of potential problems with his father...
It was nice to be young and delusional.
"Thank you, Sir! I promise you won't regret giving me an oppertunity. What time do I need to be here for my shift?"
Re: Bar
"We open at 10:00. But it would be best if you arrived early."
Re: Bar
"Yes, Sir. Of course." Neil said with a serious tone. "I'll definitely be here early and I'll read up over the next couple of days. Thank you again."
In fact, in his eagerness for gainful employement, Neil had completely forgotten to ask Lucifer for his name.
Re: Bar
Re: Bar
"Uh...can I talk to the manager?" He asked finally.
