Serenity Cove, Monday Night

Billy had made himself a mix cd of what he considered the best meditation music in his collection. There was some Enya, Native American music, tori Amos, Jimmy Buffet, new agey stuff, nature sounds.

he wasn't listening to that because the sound of the waves was so much better. He was bundled up against the cold, and had forgone any insence in favor of the natural aromas of the scene. Plus it was called Serenity Cove. How could he go wrong?

He lay down on the sand and slowed his breathing as best he could. He had with him a thermos of chamomile tea, and partook of some of it.

Leo shuffled along, his pipe glowing as he sucked in the smoke. He almost tripped over the kid.

"Look out below." Billy said, not opening his eyes. He'd heard the guy coming, smelled the pipe smoke.

"Woah!" Leo jumped back, stumbling. The sand was talking!

Clark had decided to go for a stroll before going to bed, and Saigo had tagged along. They soon came upon a figure familiar to Clark.

Leo turned and saw the guy he'd played pool with a while ago. "Hey man." he said. "This place is far out! The sand talks!"

"I beg your pardon?"

"He means me." Billy raised an arm and waved. "It's dark. Easy mistake."

Clark chuckled, and Saigo flew to Billy's side, and examined him closely.

"Why is there a duck sitting on my chest?"

Leo goggled at the duck that seemed to be knowing what was going on. "I knew it man."
