Caritas, Monday Evening

Jarod came in to the bassist waving his hand at him. With a sigh, he grabbed the roll of tape and reattached the bassist's hand, then bent to pick up the little finger that was lying on the floor. "Who does this belong to?"

A show of hands demonstrated that all the zombies had all their fingers in place. Oh, this couldn't be good.

He left the finger on one of the speakers, finished opening the bar, and waited for customers with his laptop, alternating between the document he'd been working on for weeks that suddenly wasn't quite as appealing, information about cardboard houses, and ordering pixie stix.

He didn't bother to check the caller ID as he flipped his cell open. "Miss Parker."

"Sooooo?" That 'Miss' in front of her name hurt, but she wasn't going to call him on it. She had other things to find out. "Are you seeing her again?"

Chris held the door for Jo (http://wannabehunter.livejournal.com/2245.html) and entered quickly behind her. He surveyed the room.

"Want to sit at the bar or at a table?" he asked.

"Works for me," Chris said, finding them two stools and waving Tino over to take their orders. "You mentioned something about spending time at a roadhouse," he said. "Is it a family business?"

Thursday approached the bar, was disappointed to find that they didn't sell Vorpal Blades and instead ordered a pitcher of At Death's Door (http://www.drinknation.com/drink/At-Deaths-Door) from Tino before heading to the lounge.

Logan showed up shortly after, glancing at the bar and heading towards the lounge when he didn't immediately see Thursday present.

Rose never been to the part of Caritas, so she wandered there and stopped, sniffing. "Why does this place smell like bananas?"

Thursday found a seat against the wall and set her drink down, complete with two glasses (because she could always order another one). When she saw Logan she waved him over. "Don't ask what's in it."

She set his glass out and poured some of the pitcher of strangely-coloured liquid into it, taking care not to waste any. "Yes." She put the pitcher down and slid the glass closer to him. "I hope you're not allergic to rum."
