Caritas, Monday Evening

Jarod had come directly to work from ~~handwavily~~ springing Parker from the pokey, which was why he was still wearing a suit as he took his position behind the bar. It was also why he was $450 dollars poorer, but he wasn't going to mention that to anyone. He figured he was just lucky he'd dealt with Appo, instead of Tex.

He posted a sign on the door:

They're still pretty amused by the events of the weekend.

Jarod's here until 11:30 EST, Tino's here until he dies.

Forgetting it was Monday, Weiss walked into Caritas. Then he saw who was working the bar and walked right out again.

"Okay..." Jarod shook his head, but went back to what he was doing.

Clark was feeling adventurous this eve, so he ordered the Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster.

ooc: unless it's a huge problem may I say that somehow he gets a real one because that's the only drink that could probably have any effect on Kryptonian physiology?

ooc: Order it from Tino, then? Jarod wouldn't know how to make it, but there are probably ingredients in the bar.

Tino mixed a drink that looked quite complicated to make, and set it before Clark, giving him a challenging look.

Clark sipped the drink and coughed. He'd felt that.

For lounging. No hiding under the cushions.

Teddy was hanging out in the lounge, waiting for Chad to get off work.

Chad just might have closed up the store a wee bit early today. No one ever came in after eleven, anyway. He grabbed a beer and looked around for Teddy, spotting him in the lounge and heading over.

Teddy sat up when he saw Chad, shifting over to give him a place to sit. Not too much room, or course, he wanted more cuddles.

There weren't any cuddles when Chad sat down to join Teddy, but there was definately a kiss. Hope that would suffice. It lingered longer than a usual greeting kiss lingered, because he'd been thinking about it all day. When he wasn't, thanks to Nadia, thinking about not!Walter's ass.

"Hey," he said, finally drawing away, settling back in the seat, and taking a sip of his beer.

Kissing was never something Teddy would object to.

"Hey yourself," Teddy said, leaning into Chad and wrapping an arm around him.

Beer in one hand, cute boy on the other arm. Yeah, Chad could definately dig this.

"How'd the rest of your day go?"

"Good. I talked to Ranma."

"Yeah?" Chad frowned a li ttle out of concern. "How's he holdin' up?"

"He said that they're good," Teddy said, resting his chin on Chad's chest. "But he's still pretty upset about what happened."

"Can't blame him." Chad's frowned deepened, remembering seeing Ranma in that tree, how upset he was...Chad took a good, long swig of his beer.

"Talked to Cally today too." Teddy lowered his head so Chad wouldn't see the blush on his face. "We talked about throwing a party in one of the common rooms tomorrow night."

"Party'd be cool," Chad wrapped his arm around Teddy just a little bit more. "Any particular reason, or jus' 'cause?"

"Cally said something about wearing a sailor uniform on Sunday night because she wanted to be weird too and I said that I was sad to have missed that and..." He paused before quickly continuing. "Whecameupwiththeideatohaveapartywherepeopledressslutty."

"Uh, what?"

Sure, the speed at which Teddy said it was impossible for his rather slow moving brain to keep up with, but it really didn't help that the whole thing started out with the mental image of Cally iin a sailor uniform (too, too cute), and that the only thing he did gleam of the string of words was the last one. Slutty. The Chad was intrigued.

"A party where people are supposed to dress slutty," Teddy said slowly. "I'm supposed to wear leather pants because they're the only thing I own that could be considered that."

A grin crept onto Chad's face as an image even better than Cally in a sailor uniform came into his head. He leaned in, nuzzling slightly into Teddy. "You? In leather pant?" he asked, slight growl in his voice.

"Uh, yeah," Teddy stuttered, feeling less embarrassed already. "I had them from my costume and... yeah."

"The ones you wore to that mainland gig?"

Teddy nodded. "And I'm not allowed to wear a shirt or else Cally will pout at me some more."

Chad grinned. Cally was his new best friend. "I'll pout, too," he said with a nuzzle. And pouted, for emphasis.

"You've seen me shirtless already," Teddy said, thwapping Chad on the head playfully before giving him a quick kiss. "It's the other people I'm nervous about. Nudity in public isn't something I'm comfortable with."

"Jus' 'cause I've seen it before don't mean I don't want to see it again," Chad insisted, not letting Teddy get away with a runaway kiss, kissing him back before continuing with, "An' you'll have pants." Cute, tight, leather pants. "So not nudity. Ya wore less than that at the pool party." Much less.

...Chad rather liked this conversation. It kept his mind quite happily distracted.

"Oh God, don't remind me." Teddy buried his face in Chad's chest. "I'm burning those when I get back to the dorms."

The attempted burrowing was helped with a hug. "Aw. Don't do that."

"Next time there's a pool party, I'll wear pants."

"You can't wear pants to a pool party, Ted."

"Pants!" Came Teddy's muffled shout.

Chad grinned. "You wear pants to the next pool party, then I'm wearin' a shirt."

See? Now Teddy was torn, because Chad shirtless was a very nice thing. "...maybe I could wear a different swimsuit..."

"But you got a perfectly good one already."
