Caritas was open, the zombies were taped, and Jarod was gleefully hacking into the bank records of everyone connected to the dead woman he'd read about Monday working on his project.

Hmm. Should he put the hero and heroine back together, or leave them separate, as friends? The world may never know.

Either way, the laptop screen was lowered anytime Tino or the zombies or anyone else came by.
