By the Lake in the Park - Mid to Late Evening

After running into each other handwavily in the hallway, Isabel and Katara decided that they really needed to have some fun after the past week between the shadows and classes and everything else.

That was why they met back down at lake after the moon had risen, Isabel having made some handwavy phone calls and Katara simply excited to be playing on ice.

Happy the moon was full, Katara took a deep breath and concentrated on the water in the lake, turning the top layer into ice thick enough for people to stand - or skate - on.  

She turned to grin at Isabel.  "There we go!  Ice skating!"

"I was thinking something that would cover my hair ... " Angela said thoughtfully. "Maybe more a hood than a mask."

"Oh yeah, that would work," she nodded. "It would cover your hair and you could hide your face in the shadows."

"Perfect plan. I'll even find a hood for you if you want," Angela said firmly.

She attempted a lazy spin. "So do they have skating rinks in the desert?"

"No, we didn't have a rink in Roswell. I just went a few times when we went up to the mountains," Isabel said. "My mom loves the mountains in the winter."
