Caritas - Sunday evening [Open]

GOB was getting very, very drunk tonight. He could have been in Mexico, but nooooo. He had to come back here.

[OOC: GOB is drunk. If you are female, he will very probably hit on and/or proposition you. If you really don't want that to happen, let me know and he'll tone it down.

Also, I have discovered the wonder of G4 showing AD repeats. :D]

I love you more than I did the week before

I discovered alcohol

Yuki had spent the entire weekend hiding in his room doing God knows what. He'd say writing, but Wade knew that was just code for looking at porn or something.

Deadpool took a seat at the bar, roommate in toe, and started tapping out a beat as he scanned the selection of booze. "My friend and I shall have your finest brand of whiskey. And a glass of orange juice. Can't be getting scurvy now, can we?"

"S're ting," GOB said. "TINO! Wishkey f'r th' mask guy."

Tino obliged.

Yuki sits down next to Wade. He has bags under his eyes and looks drained. He slouches slightly, which he'd NEVER do in front of a female or potiential date. But tonight he didn't see anyone around and plus, he's too tired to care.

"You need to be more like that guy," Wade said, gesturing toward GOB. "Maybe less 'please stop drinking daddy', but you know what I mean."

"I'm really exhausted Wade." He takes a large sip of his drink, he sounds almost as if he's actually going to tak to him.

Wade poured some whiskey in his juice and took a sip.

(Mmm, nothing beats whiskey and orange juice.)

"Hence the getting out of the house. Remember when we used to go out? Huh? When we went out dancing? Where did the romance go?"

"I'm not really in the mood for games tonight."

"Fine, take away my fun." Wade pouted and sipped at his drink sulkily. "You need to lighten up and stop giving yourself an ulcer and being a massive killjoy. Mostly the killjoy thing."

"What makes you so happy anyway?"

(Good question.)

"Brooding isn't my thing. I go for the repressing the emo, manic approach. I'm sure it's totally healthy."

"Right, healthy. I can't act like you. It's not like can fake it. I'm superficial. So I wish you'd quit asking."

"Better than sitting back and thinking about the absolute load of shit that life really is," Wade replied in a tone completely different than his normal 'cheerful psychopath' way.

He raised his glass toward Tino. "More whiskey!"

"How can you not?" Yuki downs the rest of his glass and holds it up next to Wade's

"Well I generally like being a touch below real suicidal thoughts, so..."

"Nn." He grunts slightly. "Why do you kill people anyway?"

"Well you know those aptitude test you take in high school? I scored high in the 'cool with offing people for money' category," Wade replied cheerfully before continuing in a more sedate tone. "I'm good at it."

"Look, I'd love to go into my slightly depressing and complicated origins but I'm really not drunk enough for that yet."

Yuki shrugged and fell silent. It's not like he cares.

Wade was also silent

...And somewhere over at the Devil's Nest, Lucifer suddenly felt cold...

And drank his new glass of whiskey in one go.

Yuki sips at his own, he's not crazy. Mostly.

He lives with Deadpool, his sanity is in question solely for that reason.

(Why the hell am I so emo? What's next? Black eyeliner and women's pants? ...though I have to admit, I'd look pretty damn good in those pants. Buns of steel.)

He held out his glass for Tino to fill again, drinking this slower than the previous one.

Yuki is thinking a great deal about a certain someone. With Valentines Day close he wonders if he should visit his grave or something.

And if Wade knew that, he'd have to turn over his 'Most Screwed Up In the Head' award, which would be sad. He liked that award.

He folded his arms on the bar and rested his chin on them, nudging his drink a few times.

(This place needs beer nuts.)

"I'm bored. Wanna go TP the school?"

Yuki turn to him looking tired and actually pretty sad. "No thanks."

No! the sadness thing was bad! BAD!

"You need more alcohol. Or less. I'm not sure yet. Garcon!"

Yuki lays his head on the bar, feeling mostly exhausted. "Garcon?"

"It's French. Not that I actually speak the language, of course. Damn surrender monkeys," Wade said, making the check motion toward Tino.

"And it's time to get you home before the wife gets mad at me for keeping you out all night."

"I'd push that brat through a window if he started bitching about my personal life."

"Sure you would," Wade said, standing up and poking at Yuki's shoulder. "Come on oh spousal abuser."

He threw some cash down on the bar, leaving a hefty out of sympathy for Tino having to work with the crazy alcoholic man.

Yuki stands and wobbles JUST slightly.

Wade pushed him gently toward the door, keeping an arm out in case he needed steadying.

In a totally manly way, of course. Manly.

Grr.

Oh, Alcohol, would you please forgive me?

For while I cannot love myself
I'll use something else
