Why yes, that is Jude behind the counter looking a little more punk-rock than usual. That would have to do with the fact that skinny-boy clothes such as his on a female frame of approximately the same weight still tended to be a good deal tighter, while baggy skater shorts get baggier. And the chest was totally smudging the chalkboard when she tried to write up the specials.

Rikku was no longer convinced that this day was really happening. Between the monsoon-like rain and the X chromosomes, it was starting to resemble the kind of strange dream you got by eating take-out right before bed.

What she really needed right now was a hot shower, a thick blanket, and some serious snuggly time with ...

Her boyfriend?

She stared at the girl behind the counter. "Is ... are you ... have you ..."

"... Jude?!"

Jude gulped and raised one hand and both his shoulders in a sheepish sort of wave that should be familiar to her. "Hey, bra."

Rikku stared back, dazed. "Hey, br-" Bro? Bra? Brew? "-dude."

"I ... you ... so, uh, how's your day been?" And with that, she bursts into a giggle fit.

Jude rubbed the back of her neck, her hair curling around her fingers. "Okay. Other than, y' know . . ." She bounced and her chest bounced with her. "I'm sorry?"

"I'm n-n-not laughing at you," Rikku apologized, still shaking a bit. "I just th-think I've lost my mind, that's all."

"Nah, you're laughin' at me," Jude said with a resigned lift of her shoulder and a small smile. "And yeah, I'm really a chick so you're not losing your mind."

Rikku blushed, then hopped behind the counter. She stepped behind her - boyfriend? girlfriend? - and wrapped her arms around the other girl's waist. "Hey," she said, still giggling. "It's raining like the sky broke, my mentor spent our fight poking himself in the boobs, my class assignment was to make out with someone, and I just asked my boyfriend who's now my girlfriend how his day was. I'm laughing at me."

Weird having him be her height. But his - her - hair smelled nice anyway.

Jude slipped her arms around Rikku in turn. "Your day has been weirder than mine and I'm the one with the wrong chromosomes," she informed her with a smile, then frowned. "Wait - you made out with someone?"

Jude's hair smelled like it always smelled - satsuma. The boy liked his LUSH.

"No!" Rikku gave the other girl a look. "Of course not. That's just what we were supposed to do. I told my professor I had a boyfriend. And someone else pointed out that I probably had a girlfriend. Guess they were right."

She considered for a moment. "Why would he - well, she - have wanted all of us to kiss anyway? Is that a guy thing?"

But she immediately looked a little shifty at answering her question. "I don't know if it is a guy thing, but, y'know, could me?"

It wouldn't make much sense to visit the twins without visiting Jude at work, too.

Annnnnd Setsuna was definately not surprised. She slumped onto a stool. "So. Since I'm pretty sure all of Fandom didn't get dumped into those Chinese springs that makes this happen to Ranma, I'm assuming Fandom weirdness. How's it feel, Jude?"

"Kinda weird when I move 'cause my balance is all off, but I can deal." Jude leaned forward on the counter like she always did, unconsciously creating faaaaaar more cleavage than usual. "Guess you're like the only one not totally weirded out, eh?"

Setsuna shrugged, and completely failed at not paying attention to Jude's cleavage. "I'm dating Ranma," she said. "I'm used to this."

Setsuna grunted distastefully. "I've actually lost track of Ranma late...excuse me, Ranma-chan. He got clocked in the face by Deadpool last week and has since actually thought he was a girl. Again. And then I lost track of her, and, well, I almost thing she realizes I'm going to hit her as soon as I see her to try to get regular Ranma back..."

Setsuna chuckled a little. "Absolutely. That, and Ranma-chan is pure evil." Okay, she was wrong; the girl!Jude was still a little weird but Setsuna smiled fondly at him/her anyway as she said, "Thanks, Jude. Willing to hit my schizophrenic boyfriend in the head with a frying pan for me. You really are the best friend a girl could ever ask for."
