Marie finally managed to drag herself out of bed and get dressed and made her way in to work.

Despite the torrential downpour outside, she was practically glowing.

Leo shuffled down to the shop to see how things were going. He had a board game under one arm.

"Hey man." he said. "How's it going?"

"Everything is going great, sir," Marie replied, grinning broadly.

"Far out man." Leo said. "You handlin' the weather okay?"

"The weather?" Marie repeated, a little confused. Yeah, it was raining, but considering she had spent the better part of the week in bed, she really wasn't aware of just how much it had been raining.

"Yeah man." Leo nodded. "It's been raining pretty hard for a while. I guess it hasn't bothered you huh."

"No, I... uh... haven't really been out much this week," Marie said, blushing a little.

"Not feeling well?" Leo asked, concerned.

The blush deepened a little. "No, I've been feeling fine," Marie assured him. "Just... busy with... indoor activities."

"School's keeping you busy huh." Leo nodded. "I dig."

"Yep, lots and lots of school work," Marie nodded.

"I hear they ride you kids hard these days." Leo said. "Must be hard to keep up."

Jude ducked into the Photo Hut, securely wrapped against the rain. She very carefully did a shirt-transparency check before relaxing.

"Can I help you?" Marie asked, completely unaware that there was anything strange going on in town.

"Yeah, bra," Jude drawled with a mellow smile. "Need a disposable camera or something before the weird unweirds."

"What weirdness is going on now?" Marie asked, showing Jude where the display of disposable cameras was.

Jude gave her an odd look. "Uh . . . the dudes are all chicks?"

Marie stared at Jude. "Um... no they aren't," she argued, thinking about what she had spent her morning doing.

"Okay, maybe not all of them . . . but most of 'em." She poked the side of her boob. "I didn't have these yesterday or I think I woulda noticed."

Still staring.

"Wait. Are you trying to tell me that you're really a boy but you woke up like a girl?"

"Marie, bra, it's me. Jude."

"Jude? Really? Wow," Marie was still staring. "Huh. I'm really glad it didn't happen to Jamie."

Marie smiled. "You're a very attractive girl, if that makes you feel any better."

"Thanks, bra. Doesn't really help that much, but, y'know . . ."

"Well, at least it should wear off in a day or two, like everything else in Fandom," Marie said.

"Yeah." She picked out a disposable camera. "But I need the evidence for the guys back home, so guess I better do it before it goes away."

Marie grinned. "Have fun," she said, going back to the register to ring up Jude's purchase.

Jude trailed after her, digging in three different pockets to come up with enough money.

Leo waved cheerily to the little skater girl. First that ghost and now this. Hyde would love it here.

Jude saluted back. By throwing up the horns. It felt appropriate.

"Hey man." Leo grinned. "Welcome to the Photo Hut."

"I, don't think so man." Leo said, confused.
