The Devil's Nest - Thursday 3/8

Okay, the rain situation was getting more than a little insane. Perhaps even more so than his roommate and his classmates being female all of a sudden.

Or perhaps Neil just felt that way because he had to slog through some fairly deep puddles to get down from the dorms to the Nest tonight.

Shrugging out of his water logged coat, he gave Mazikeen a smile as he hung up the coat and got to the business of getting the Nest ready for the evening's crowd.

After some thought, Neil decided to go after the bar rail with the brass polish tonight. Some nice, intense detail work should keep his attention off the whole roommate is a girl and torrential rain situation.

Yeah the rain was getting worse, the good part though was that Yondaime could wear a large coat to cover and hide most of the current girliness of ~~her~~his body.

Arashi sat at the bar and flashed a bright, if not forced smile. "Hi, can I get the strongest drink you have please?"

Neil smiled at the unknown woman and after some thought he set a glass of chilled ouze in front of her.

"Here you go, ma'am. Ouze."

"Thanks," She took a deep breath and took a drink, raising an eyebrow. "Hmm, not bad. It's not Sake, but not bad."

Deadpool, on the other hand, was still wearing the same skimpy outfit from before.

"Araaaashiiiii."

The blond ninja straightened in surprise and looked over with a pain expression. "Hi Wade. Ouze?"

The stuff was really good and was making her feel very warm inside.

Wade ooo-ed. "Sure! Nothing says fun times like hard liquor."

She asked for another glass to be brought out, and continued to drink hers. "Oh yeah? I usually try not to get too drunk. I get..... funny, when I'm drunk."

"Funny haha, or funny mass murdery?"

"The first one... I think. At least Jiraiya thinks it's hilarious when I'm drunk. Though I don't usually enjoy it the next day." She explained, taking another sip.

Deadpool looked at the alcohol and then back at Arashi. "So, the idea of getting royally drunk is a bad one?"

"You can go ahead and drink, I'm jsut going to get mildly buzzed."

"You, my kounichi friend, are boring," Wade said, taking a shot of the Ouzo.

"No I'm safe....." She drank the rest of her glass and grimaced. "Ugh... You're right, I am boring." She slumped and banged her head against the bar. "I used to be the life of the party when I was young.... and now I've become socially innept."

Wade gave her a pat on the shoulder. "I think you're socially nept, but then I'm insane and not the best judge of social situations."

"I lived with talking frogs for nearly fifteen years," she sighed and got more to drink from the barkeep. Maybe getting drunk wasn't that bad of an idea. "My friends and I used to go, get drunk and see how many trees we could knock over before we passed out."

Deadpool politely ignored the frog comment, but filed it away for future blackmail material.

"We can still do that," Wade told her. "Well, as long as I get to use explosives we can."

She smiled kind of goofily. "Really? Man, I'd like that. I miss my old friends, they were a riot. Well, except for Fugaku, he always kind of had a stick up his ass or something."

"Sure. Never mind the rain. We'll get smashed and start knocking over trees. We don't want to end up like Fugaku, do we?"

"No, specially since I heard later that his own son killed him... and the entire family. We always told him he was too hard on the boy."

(If that isn't a mood killer, I don't know what is.)

Deadpool paused and then poured them both more alcohol. "Hey! Look! Booze!"

She smiled more. "Yep, that's definitely booze." Arashi slid her cup over. "Wanna fill me up?"

Downing his own glass, Wade poured out more in the offered glass and then his own.

"Ouzo. Now I have a craving for baklava."

"Back-lava? That sounds kinda gross." Then again what the ninja was pictureing was lava flowing down someone's back, but that didn't seem quite right.

"Sushi and tempura sound really good to me right now."

"Oh, you're such a delightful Japanese stereotype," Wade said, slapping Arashi on the back. "I'm making you try new and exciting cuisine from all over the world."

"Uh, okay." Arashi shrugged. "So Back lava is food?"

"Phyllo- Fillo- really thin dough, butter, honey and pistachios. The best Greek food there is. Other than gyros." She sighed dreamily. "Mmmm, gyros. Now I'm just hungry."

"That doesn't sound too bad." Arashi downed another glass and moved, half leaning, half hanging on Wade. "Can we got get some?"

Wade took a shot of her own.

"Sure! Do they have Greek place here in town? They should!"

"I have.... no idea!" She giggled, the ouze was hitting her much harder than anything ever had before and it was rather obvious with how giggly and clingy Arashi was suddenly being.

Wade was more than happy to be groped by a hot chick. The fact that said hot chick was actually a man made it a bit weird but the Ouzo was making that seem less strange.

So he may have groped back. A little. Not enough to be too forward or anything. Just a quick ass grab.

"If there isn't, you and me are opening one! We can call it Ninja Gyros."

Tonight's activity in the lounge was to clean every single billiard ball so that they sparkled, good as new.

If the ~~mistress~~ master of the Nest is in tonight, Neil was being careful not to disturb him.

After an ~~yet to be played~~ interesting encounter over at Caritas, Lucifer took her usual seat in the lounge.

Just for fun, he was reorganizing the music, this time alphabatizing it by song title with a cross reference to genre.
