The Park, Tuesday Afternoon

Tori had been lazy for most of the morning, seeing as she didn't have any more classes until Thursday. Finally deciding to get up and do something with herself, Tori though a jog in the park would do her some good.

Outfitted with her mp3 player and dressed in the appropriate running attire, Tori set out for a leisurely jog, no limit on how long the jog would last.

It was a nice day, not too hot, not too cold out either. Nice enough now that the weather had calmed down and it was no longer raining.

John was out for a walk, enjoying the weather. And freedom from the horrible tyrrany from pants. And socks. And shoes. Shorts and sandals for the win!

Tori smiled and waved when she spotted John. "Hey." She slowed to a stop, shutting off her mp3 player. Noticing John's attire, she laughed. "Enjoying the weather?"

"Ohyah. As are you, I see. It's dry, no snow, and it's about four times warmer than it's been anytime the last month. You better believe I'm enjoying it. Out for a run," John said, tapping his inner Captain Obvious.

Tori nodded, grinning. "I am. It's such a nice day, it'd be wrong not to take advantage of it."

"This keeps up? I might hit the beach, have a campfire, and make s'mores or something," he grins.

Tori grinned brightly. "Oh, that sounds great." The only thing that would make it better would be great waves to ride; she hadn't bought a surfboard for nothing.

"Y'know, that's actually not a bad idea. You interested?" John starts planning. Hot dogs, s'mores stuff, sticks, blanket, plates, beverages...

"Oh, definitely." Tori smirked, nodding. "It's a great idea."

No rain is something that should be celebrated. Aiden is doing just that by eating a burger handwavily picked up at Luke's while sitting on the bench in the park.

The fact she'll do anything to get out of her dank office is what's making her take her time over it.

Tori was taking full advantage of the nice day, by getting some exercise in and enjoying the park's scenery.

Nearing the bench, Tori noticed it was occupied and smiled at the unfamiliar face. "Hi."

Ah, look. Yet another excuse to delay the inevitable return to cleaning.

Aiden smiled. "Afternoon," she greeted. "Good run?" she enquired, simply for something to say.

Tori nodded, smiling. "Yes, thanks. Nice enough day to be outside." She answered warmly. "I'm Tori, by the way." She introduced herself, not wanting to seem rude.

"Anythin's better than that damn flood," Aiden agreed. "Gotta say, I'm a fan of this life."

After a second, she clicked that a return introduction might be good. "Aiden," she said. "You're a student, I guess?"

"Definitely." Tori was all for the nice weather. She wondered when it would get warm enough for her to hit the waves.

"Nice to meet you, Aiden." She smiled warmly. "I am a student, a senior to be exact."

"Ah," Aiden nodded. "So almost outta there. Must be excitin'. Least, I remember bein pretty damn awesome. Could'a just been 'cause I couldn't wait for College, though."

"Yeah, it is." Tori agreed. "But, at the same time, I wish I had more time here." She admitted, with a smile.

Leo was reading a book about Time Travel. One of those old Sci-Fi magazines. Well that was what he'd been doing when he fell asleep in the warm sun.

Tori noticed him as she passed by, slowing down to make sure he was okay. She figured he was just sleeping, so she assumed he was okay.

Leo started awake for reasons unknown. "Woah!" he exclaimed, possibly from a dream he'd just had or something.

Tori was a bit startled, not expecting him to wake up like that. "Are you okay?"

Leo looked around, confused. "What year is it man?"

"It's 2007." Tori answered, wondering just what kind of dreams he had been having.

"Sure, I guess?" Tori smiled slightly at that. "I'm Tori, by the way." She didn't want to seem rude or anything, by not introducing herself.
