Caritas, Wednesday Evening [OPEN]

Jarod was at work early, setting up for another Teal Dear concert. The zombies were happy to have been given the night off and had mentioned something about a road trip.

Somehow Jarod thought he didn't want to know.

This? Very odd. Pippi had never met somebody who didn't come back from getting a tattoo vibrating with excitement and wanting to show it off.

It was her personal policy to let a person show her their new tattoo ten times before she started reminding them that she'd seen it already.

Chad paused a bit as he thought of how best to answer that. "Cause I did want anyone seeing it at first."

Pippi nodded and smiled at Chad and waited expectantly.

Chad...wasn't exactly sure what Pippi was waiting for. "But now I don't mind?" he offered.

"I was kinda wondering why you didn't want people to know." Pippi said. "But we don't have to talk about it if you don't wanna. I think it turned out real nice."

"Thanks, Pippi," he smiled a little, and shrugged. He didn't mind so much telling Pippi. "I jus'....worried about what Ted would think, is all, but he was okay with it."

....true, they almost broke up over it, or rather Chad hiding it, but they didn't, and that was what was important.

Pippi reached up and touched his arm to get him to turn a bit so she could see it better.

She smiled back at him and nodded.

"It's a bold statement. You're not the first guy to get a name on his body and be uncertain in the morning."

Chad grunted, slightly amused. "Yeah, I know, but Ted's the first guy's name on my body, so..."
