Caritas, Wednesday Evening

As soon as he strolled in, Jarod was confronted by two zombies who presented him with their arms and complained that the new guy had put the wrong arms on the wrong zombies. Or, they didn't really complain so much as they grunted at great length and in different speaking pitches accompanied by the angry waving of arms, but Jarod got the point.

So, one roll of duct tape (and a sharpie marker labeling the appropriate forearms with a black L and R for the future) later, the zombies were playing some classic rhythm and blues and Jarod was searching online for something nice to get Jaye for Saturday.

"Fine. Better now that all spells on people I know have been lifted. But it's good to be dealing with the usual high school stuff again, instead of more kidnappings and mind control." She settled onto a barstool and grinned. "Diet Coke, please. You make an annoyingly obstinate amnesiac, by the way."

"I didn't run into Lana, Marie or Phoebe before it became obvious that something was seriously wrong with them, so yes, this time I lucked out." Parker toasted him with her glass. "I suspect I would have spent a couple days either frozen in my room like Bel, or as a small fluffy animal if I had. Wyatt was a very charming sugar glider."

After the movie in the park and on her way back to the church that night, Rosette made sure to stop by Caritas for Day Four in the Recovery from Lent process. And to drink one for remembrance for missing her ANTM girls tonight for the movie.

"Evening, Rosette," Jarod grinned at her. "What would you like to start?"

"I can drink again!" Rosette proclaimed triumphantly, like a grinning dork, having a feeling that Jarod would appriciate this face. She chuckled a little. "I feel like rum right now. Haven't had any rum yet since Sunday. I should be keeping a checklist."

Deadpool had seen ANTM, and even stopped by the church looking for the nun but nooooo. So he went to the bar where he didn't normally see Rosette and therefore meant he had to run into.

Damn coincidences.

He quietly took a seat next to the nun. "'lo."

Rosette blinked at Deadpool as if she was surprised to see him. Either that, or she'd had too much of that rum and things were just blurry and she was trying to get a bit of focus. "Hi."

Deadpool picked at the bowl of pretzels on the bar. This was more awkward than he thought it would be.

"You weren't at the church for ANTM night."

Jarod thought for a minute, then started dumping a banana, Bailey's, and vodka into a blender. Then, he poured it all into the glass and topped it with whipped cream. "Let me know what you think?"
