Chris escorted Luna into the restaurant and they were seated rather quickly.

He smiled at her after their waiter brought them water and tea. "How long have you been in Fandom?" he asked.

"In a way, yes. Our world removed itself from the other hundreds of years ago." Luna said. "I do not believe that our systems are the same but should there be something you think I might be able to assist you with, you know where I may be found. Demons are new to me."

"Likewise," Chris replied. "We'll have to really discuss the differences and similarities in our magic sometime," he added.

Luna laughed and ducked her head a moment, embarrassed. "Sorry, and yes, I think that would prove most interesting."

"Nothing to apologize for," Chris assured her. "Maybe we can hang out sometime and I can show you my family's Book of Shadows."

The moment the words were out of his mouth, he mentally facepalmed because that sounded like a bad pickup line.

"Thank you." Luna said. "I have a few spell books of my own, text books and the like, which I could bring."

Luckily, the bad pickup line part of the equation flew right over Luna's head.

Chris smiled and pushed his plate away. "Sounds great. We'll have some time off between finals and the summer workshops starting. I also made plans with Mr. Winchester to get together and go over info on demons. I'm sure he knows more than he had time to share in class."

"Perhaps we could fit something in before I leave for home?" Luna suggested, finishing her tea. "If he did not, he would not make a suitable instructor, I think."

"Definitely," Chris said. "Do you know when you're leaving?"

"I am not sure how things work here, but I expect that will be as soon as they release us for the term." Luna said.

"And how long will your exams take?" Chris asked.

"I will be revising from the time I arrive till the O.W.L.s begin in June, then the examination will continue for nearly two weeks." Luna gave him the long answer.

"Wow, so you'll be gone for at least the first summer session," Chris said. "Are you going to come back for the second one?"

"I expect so, yes." Luna answered. "There are things which might delay me, but I hope to return here."

"Good," Chris said, smiling shyly at her. "I've enjoyed getting to know you better. Hopefully we can hang out more."

"I would like that, Chris Halliwell." Luna smiled in the same shy way.

After a moment she remembered to say, "shall we head home, then?"

Chris finished taking care of the check and then nodded, standing up and offering Luna his arm again. "It's a lovely night for a walk," he said.
