Caritas - Tuesday 5/15 - [Open]

Dick had the zombies taped up in record time today with no mistakes at all. He had brought a deck of cards with him and was now playing Indian Poker with Tino at the bar. After a few more drinks it'll probably turn into the "Hey! Let's see how many cards I can stick to my face!" game.

Caritas was open.

Dick was at the bar, getting his ass handed to him by Tino at Indian Poker. But he'd stop to serve you drinks. Tino was there for the modding as well.

Tonight was Kawalsky's last night in Fandom. He could have hung out around one of the campfires, but that would've just made him mope and have second thoughts. He could have gone to the beach or sat on the roof with the piece of debris that had been thrown up there or done nothing at all.

Instead, he did what any sensible guy would do during his last night in town.

"Barguy! I need a drink. Surprise me."

Maybe not so sensible.

Dick nodded and mixed Kawalsky up a Jack Daniels and Coke. He still had a card stuck to his forehead.

"You trying to get hammered?" he asked. "Because I could just give it to you straight if you are."

After a while, D decided she needed a drink and didn't want to break into her own stash so she headed to Cartias.

Sliding up to the bar, she ordered a drink then waved to Kawalsky. "Hey there."

Molly knew that tonight was Charlie's last night in Fandom and when she couldn't handwavey find him at his cabin, she came to check if he was here.

She grinned when she saw him and went to sit by him. "Hey, Charlie."

"Molly! What're you doing down here? Not enough action at the cabins?"

Hamlet decided to slip away from the cabins for awhile and headed up to Caritas. Spying Kawalsky, he headed across the room over to the bar to order a drink and say hi.

"I heard a rumour that you weren't long for this world," he said.

Ba'al entered the bar and looked around him. Not too shabby, and they would cater to him in his awkward teenage body. He sat down at the bar, and satisfied, ordered a Red Bull. He'd become rather attached to the drink during his first stay on Earth.

Sam hadn't slept since Jack left at 6 am Sunday morning. The good news was that she was packed and all of her notes had been copied in triplicate--two for her, one for Crichton.

The bad news was that she'd had way too much caffeine and was now looking for a drink. And there was a tingling at the base of her neck that was way too familiar, and very, very unwelcome.

She took a seat at the bar and had Tino make her one of his blue drink specials, but didn't drink it, busily glancing around the bar. Kawalsky and D'anna she knew. So that left either the bartender, Tino, the zombies, or the guy at the bar.

Sam glared at the back of his head.

Ba'al felt a little uncomfortable all of a sudden, he looked around and saw a young, blonde, female looking at him. He narrowed his eyes at her, taking care NOT to do do the Goa'uld eye glow.

After talking to Charlie for a while, Molly looked around and noticed a new face. Well, she still hadn't found her newbie. It was worth a shot. She shrugged to herself and wandered over.

"Hi!" she said, giving him a big smile. "How's it going?"

"Fine," Ba'al said, looking up at the girl. She was certainly friendly. Well, he DID need practice dealing with Tau'ri females.

"Ba'al," he introduced himself, and he offered her his hand.

Kawalsky, on the other hand, didn't really notice Ba'al. He did, however, get the slightest feeling that something was amiss, kind of like the feeling you get when you know you've forgotten something but can't remember what it was. He shrugged it off and kept talking to whoever it was he was talking to at the time.

After the fun that was Chupacabra- and they obviously didn't know how bad she can hurt them yet- Jaina was very happy to get away from the cabin. And if there was a cute boy involved, that only helped matters.

"Is this the place?" she asked.

Now that Johnny could breathe a little easier, he nodded, "This is it." He moved to place his hand at the small of her back, attempting to lead her to the bar stools. "What do you think?"
