The Beach - mid-morning through late afternoon, Sunday
Annette snuck out of the cabin. At least she hoped her sneaking out was successful. She didn't look around to see if anyone was watching her. She grabbed her beach towel, a book she didn't plan on reading, her ipod, and rushed out, taking herself to the beach.
She needed to be alone. Or more was the fact that she felt it necessary to hide for awhile. She was not being emo. No way. She just needed to be alone.
Once there, she spread her towel and put on her ipod, then she sat down and curled her knees to her chest, staring out over the ocean.
(it's a beach, so it's open)

"Yeah, I forgot about the no walls thing, too. I just thought we weren't that loud." He blushed with embarrassment. "But yeah, future reference, huh?"
no subject
He takes his shoes off again as they hit the sand, and slings them over his shoulder.
"I didn't, either. We weren't doing anything to be loud about."
He hasn't seen Annette, yet.

"..Aw, man, we're not gonna be bothering another person, are we?"

He gives her a wave, but she's kind of watching the water, so he doesn't know if she'll see or not.
"She looks kinda distracted."

"Yeah, I liked her. Friendly. I don't think she'll throw anything at us."
He listens to the babbling with a very confused little look on his face, and shakes his head.
"It's a beach. Of course there's water," he says, and unzips his shirt, tossing it to the sand along with his shoes. "Are you coming in?"

no subject
"Yeah, yeah, Mr. Water-controller-man."
A little further out, and he's treading water. It's not like he can dare Demyx to come out further. Demyx has probably never been afraid of water in his life.

"Stop trying to scare me. I'm not easy to scare."

When he finally surfaces, shaking the hair out of his eyes, and shaking his head, he smiles. "You're way not scary."
no subject
"I'm not scary? Aww. I knew I was always the pushover of the Organization, but isn't that a little harsh?"
no subject
"Not harsh. Just... truth. You're not scary. You're all tall hair and big black jacket."
He grins, and pushes Demyx down in the water enough that he can kiss him, slinging arms around his neck.
no subject
"You know, maybe it's a good thing I'm not scary. If I was more like the Superior, I wouldn't get to kiss you. And that'd be really too bad."
no subject
"It's weird. I'm never usually one for snuggling or physical contact."
no subject
"You might not usually be snuggly, but I am. I guess it rubs off?"

Warmer than Roxas is, warmer than the water around them. It's calming, feels kind of... familiar.
"It's alright, right? The holding on."

Because all he wants to be doing right now is curling up on the beach or in an alcove or on the grass or somewhere that's warm and sleep for a while longer.
If he gets to do it in someone's company, all the better for it.
"And it's kinda cold, now."
no subject
He headed up onto the beach where they could spread out his jacket and lay down for a while.
no subject
"This is nice."
Which is, of course, a complete understatement. It's comfortable, it's nice, and it's peaceful.
