The Arms Hotel Restaurant, Sunday Brunch

Mary had forgotten how difficult Gunther could be sometimes. They had argued over the menu for brunch from the moment Mary arrived in the kitchen. In the end, they had compromised on a spread of German and American traditional breakfast foods with brotchen, apple pancakes, various types of sausage, cold cuts and cheeses, and yogurt as well as omelets made-to-order. There was also coffee, tea, orange juice and sparkling grape juice. Mary insisted on hash browns and Gunther refused to make them until Mary suggested that Wolfgang would have made them for her.

Being the savvy businesswoman that she was, Mary put up a sign outside the hotel. "FREE FOOD! Join us for brunch and see what we can do for you at the all-new Arms Hotel!"

She collected a few pancakes from the chef and a large mug of cofffee, and thanked him with a nod.

"Mornin' Leo. It's less solving mysteries, more catching bail jumpers," Aiden admitted. "Although, guess there's that mystery of how so many fashion crimes must've been comitted here which I discovered the answer to on Friday thanks to that rummage sale."

Stan saw the sign for free food. And since it's not the outrageous prices from that shop run by the braid girl, he decided to partake.

Brunch was... a bit upscale, but it was food, it was free, and there was a lot of it. That made Sokka happy. He piled several plates full of food and sat down at a table to wolfgang them down.

Kenpachi wasn't sure he believed Yachiru when she hopped back into the house spouting something about communal feasting without monetary investment but, sure enough, once his Lieutenant had managed to find the Arms again, there was food. And so they were definitely partaking.

Kenpachi was too into his food to notice, but Yachiru, although also pretty preoccupied, was peering over her way-too-sugary breakfast and noticed the lady smiling, so she smiled back and waved a little.

Roy was definitely more awake now and as he'd heard about a new manager arriving in town, he decided to stop by Sunday Brunch before heading into the station.

"Good morning, miss," he greeted.

"Good morning!" said Mary. She was just a little too perky for a Sunday morning, but three cups of coffee would do that.

Roy could deal with perky and he gave her a bemused smile. "I hope that I am not mistaken and that you are the new manager as I wouldn't want to cause any offense before even meeting someone," he said.
