Yes, Chad was late for work today. Being stabbed through seemed like a good excuse. He wanted lunch at the camp, and then it wasn't exactly a quick task to get there.

But he was still here. And taking it easy.

Today's music was a mix between Sublime, Sarah McLaughlin, and Stones. Good healing music, in his mind.

Robin had money to spend today and he was in search of music.

Oh, hey, it was the little banjo frog dude. "Hey, Robin," Chad greeted with a wave.

"Hi Chad!" Robin waved. "How are you?"

"Not bad; healing up, which is good. You here to get some music?"

He glanced around slightly for where the cats might be lurking.

"Uh huh." the tiny frog nodded. "I saw some stuff that looked interesting last time I was here, so I thought I'd come back and actually buy some stuff."

"Yeah?" Chad asked. "What was it?"

Robin had a list. "Pink, The Cranberries, Avril Lavigne, Evanescence, and Rasputina."

Chad paused for a slight second, looking down over at the frog. It didn't settle well in him when he couldn't quite agree with only two fifths of a list. "Who suggested 'em?"

"Well I really like Blondie, and from what I heard of those bands so far, I like them."

Chad couldn't help a slow grunt, or a slight mutter of, "Well, if you like manufactured, fake-pop-rock-pun...." He trailed off, though, because to each his own and all that. He sighed a bit, leaning (carefully) on the counter. "Can I make a few slight adjustments to your list?" he offered. "S'not a bad list, but it could be improved, in my opinion." And Chad did like to think that his opinion, at least when it came to music, was pretty well-informed.

"Please do." Robin said. He might not exclude any of what he already had, but he was willing to hear other opinions, especially if they added some things.

"Well, the Rasputina I can totally dig," Chad started out, "but, I mean, you rock Blondie, so I'd go...Cardigans over Cranberries; similar structure with more rock. Pink...eh, kinda win/lose with her, Evenesance's got a few good tracks on their first album, but..." He shrugged, apathetically. "Definitely suggest ditching the Avril. Go with Lily Allen or Amy Winehouse instead of all those. If you're looking for more instrumental finisse than voice appeal, get some Shonen Knife. Cute but pretty poppy vocals but awesome guitar. Let's see...Tracy Bonham, early Joan Osborne, Hole although veer away from any live stuff there..."

There was a slight pause as he looked at Robin. "And I have a strange need to mention Abba." He kind of hated himself for it, but he you couldn't stop these things sometimes.

Robin nodded. He still liked the Avril and Cranberries that he'd heard, but he was totally willing to go with Chad's advice. If he wanted he could always buy some later. Pink though...yeah that was non-negotiable, Robin already had a bit of a crush there.

"I'll give those others a listen. And Abba's fun." he giggled.

"Yeah," Chad grinned a little. "Damn Swedish bands. Can't listen to 'em without thinkin' of a friend. Y'know how that goes..."

"Oh that's cool." Robin bounced. "There's a few pieces of music that remind me of friends and family, it's some of my favorites."
