Book Haven: Monday 10-5PM [6-18-07]

Lana hurried to the store after class and set everything out before opening up. Then she busied herself with straightening up and doing some cleaning before she let herself relax with a nice cup of tea.

Lana put an arm around her and ushered her to the sitting area and sat her down. "What happened? What did you do?"

Phoebe nodded, breaking down completely. "Just wanted him to tell us how he really felt about Anders because he kept side-stepping it," she sobbed. "He doesn't talk to us about serious stuff very much and I just wanted to know how he felt about things and wanted him to relax to feel comfortable and not be on such tense alert all of the time." She was shaking. "Told him today what I did and... he told me that he thought being forced to do things against his will was over when he left the Underworld..."

"I know," Phoebe sobbed. "I know. It was a horrible thing to do to the man I love and I deserve him leaving and not wanting to speak to me. I betrayed his trust in me."

"I'd die before I did that on purpose. He's been through so much and then what do I do? I get someone to cast a spell on him." She shook her head. "If I was him, I wouild never speak to me again."

"I may need to ask her for that," Phoebe said miserably.

"I'm sorry that I came to your work all torn up, Lana. I just didn't know where else to go. I had to get out of our room and away from the emotions in the air."

"Don't you dare apologize," Lana said firmly. "You're always welcome. In fact, if you need me to I'll send Jim somewhere and you can spend the night in our room. He'd understand. In the meantime, you're going to stay here with me for a while. In fact..."

Lana left the sitting area briefly and returned with a cup of tea. "Here, just sit here quietly with me and sip on this. It will soothe you a bit."
