Turtle & Canary; Thursday [ 06/28 ]

Turtle was busy getting all sorts of stuff together for the barbeque; there was no way there were going to run out of food or anything and lots of decorations and chairs maybe, and they were totally going to need help carrying all this out to the beach. Can't have the best barbeque ever without a little effort, after all.

Today's Squishy Flavors: Anchovie, Brussel Sprouts, Red.

"...Apu, you're clearing out the last dark recesses of the Squishy flavor supply closet, aren't you?" It took her a while, but Turtle finally got it.

Turtle & Canary is open!

Mary stopped by before her shift at the hotel. She did need to pick up some party items, but she also listened to the radio broadcast last night and realized that she may need to do some damage control.

"Seems like it," said Mary. "I have a large order for you today. Do you have plastic champagne flutes and tablecloths?"

John stopped by to pick up some supplies. "Hey there, Turtle," he greeted her.

"Barbeque? Where's this foodfest happening?" John asked.

Charlie came in on her lunch hour, equally bouncy. "Turtle! Are we ready for a party?"

"Yaaay!" She giggled, then said, "Hey, I heard you on the Radio last night. We should get enough people in with you telling everyone." Charlie grinned. "But why did you rush out of there at the end of the broadcast? Bag?"

A rubber band came flying towards Turtle from somewhere behind an isle.

Marco stiffled a snicker and let another rubber band fly at Turtle.

Robin was also bouncy and singy. This was not an unusual state for him. "If you want to, I can save you, I can take you away from here," he was singing. You can credit or blame Charlie for introducing him to Michelle Branch.

Robin sang a bit more of the song, then put it on pause so to speak. "Hi Turtle!" he bounced. "I hear you've got mini surfboards."

After the pork Squishy the other day, Sokka just had to stop by and see what other flavors they had.

"This is SOOOOO GOOOOD!" he said to Turtle as he walked up to pay for the anchovy Squishy.

"... Not that Red isn't good too..." he added. "But this is fishy!"

Sokka shrugged and took another slurp. "I dunno. Red's good, too. But meat and fish are super awesome."
