The Devil's Nest, Saturday Night

No Setsuna this evening and Lucifer was in a surprisingly social mood. This meant he was behind the bar instead of off doing whatever a retired angel did.

No, not shuffleboard.

Since it was late no the mun is not waiting till 2am RLT OMG when he finally got off shift and headed down to the Nest, Wilson made his way towards the lounge area.

He didn't want to screw with time continuity too much disturb anyone having final drinks up at the bar.

Wilson felt himself relax between one breath and the next as Lucifer came over with the wine and he looked up with a ready smile for the Advesary.

"Evening," he said softly, waiting for the wine to be poured before reaching over and picking up a glass.

Perhaps the shadows covered up the slight blush that touched his cheeks but somehow Wilson doubted Lucifer needed light to see the color in his pale flesh as he looked down at his wine and then back up towards the angel.

"Do I need a reason?" He asked softly before leaning back and studying the properly annoying perfect hair and suit clad figure seated with him.

"If so, I fear it is something simple; a desire for your company."

Which really, wasn't nearly as simple as it sounded, was it?

Grinning, in response to the teasing, even as he blushed a little deeper Wilson arched an eyebrow at the Lightbringer.

"Not as if you sleep. Besides, I had a duty to perform before seeking out my pleasures."

Wilson looked a little confused at first but then he realized that perhaps he had never really explained his dedication to medicine before.

"It will probably be something of a let down when I say, I only had a clinic shift tonight and a quiet one at that, not any adventerous quest," he admitted, the glass of wine carefully balanced in the palm of his hand, the stem twirled artfully between his fingers.

"But that is duty to me, one I embrace fully even when it holds me away from what I might otherwise enjoy."

The last was said softly, a warmth entering his dark eyes as he watched the Lightbringer from overtop the rim of his wine glass.

That caused the mortal to laugh because honestly, he had to. He and Lucifer had already addressed what had happened, Wilson's choice and the fact that it had been given of his own Free Will without thought of recompense and well ... he was alive!

Though unaware of what the exchange had done for Lucifer.

Arching his chin a little, his eyes sparkled as he gave a playfully haughty sniff.

"Now, now. I'll have you know that I survived, evil vampires, snow monsters, a Balrog prince with a serious desire to smack Aziraphale around, trolls, a dear young friend being possessed by evil and putting me in a coma, an Aziraphale from the Apocolypse ... okay that was due to you showing up and saving our bacon but it wasn't until just recently that I actually, um well, you know."

"Oh, I could never juggle knives. I'm much too clumsy, I'm sure I'd end up dropping one." Wilson responded to Lucifer's teasing.

Wilson had been about to lament on just what a shame it would be when Lucifer took a sip of his wine.

Though it was perhaps fool hardy of the mortal, he had not forgotten the pilfering of his own wine back at dinner on Thursday and before he could put too much thought into what he was about to do, he set his wine glass to the side and quickly rolled to his feet.

Leaning over the short distance between the chairs, Wilson caught Lucifer's eye for a brief beat of the mortal heart and then he leaned down and pressed his lips against the Lightbringer's mouth. A quick flick of his tongue allowed him to taste the delightful wine on his lover's lip and perhaps attempted to coax a deeper kiss out of the Advesary.

Steal his wine would he?

It was incredibly kind of the Advesary to assist and Wilson was by no means stingy in responding to that kindness with approval of his own.

Deepening the kiss, he indulged himself a little and playfully tickled the inside of the Lightbringer's mouth, thoroughly enjoying himself and more importantly, the man shaped being he leaned over.

Eventually that pesky need for oxygen forced him to draw back, just to the point where his lips tickled across Lucifer's when he whispered.

"Is it too late to ask for a dance?"

"You always have the best answers," Wilson said, reaching up to draw his fingertips along Lucifer's jaw in a light caress before he turned and made his way towards the dance floor. (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomtownies/1849662.html?thread=85163070#t85163070)

Nope, no bingo here!

Walking up onto the dance floor, Wilson made his way to the music station and with very little effort found exactly the type of music he needed. He would no doubt leave the choice of music and dance style to Lucifer on Monday but for tonight, well ... he had plans.

The music when it came on, was primarily centered around a fiddle's fine voice. There were words, sung by a woman with a smokey voice who sang in what sounded like old Gaelic. There was definitely a Celtic tone to the music, rich and earthy it seemed to depict much older, primal beats and tones yet at the same time, there was a definite pattern to be danced with this music.

Not quite the freestyle motions of Monday night's fare.

This time, Wilson stepped up to the challenge without the earlier hesitation from the last time he had been in the position to lead. Taking one of Lucifer's hands in his, the other slid warmly around the Advesary's hip and with an arch of his eyebrows, he set their feet to motion.

It was perhaps a good thing that the dance floor was quiet at this point, because they would be making use of the whole space, even though it seemed as if their feet never parted so closely did Wilson draw Lucifer up against his own body.

"Perhaps a bit, in the last couple of hours," Wilson admitted truthfully, dark eyes warm and full of good humor.

Sliding his hand a bit more intently around towards the small of Lucifer's back, Wilson lead the Advesary into a complex series of spins and leaps across the dance floor. His arms held the angel's more powerful body with genuine confidence, silently offering the promise that he wouldn't let any harm come ... to Lucifer's dignity.

"It has yet to be," Wilson answered softly, spinning Lucifer outwards only to deftly catch him back in his arms.

The feel of Lucifer's words against his ear caused the mortal to shiver delicately and he pulled the Advesary closer until their bodies were tight together.

"The music, will be ending soon," he whispered, almost inaudible.

Running through all possible verbal responses to that question, Wilson shook them all off as trite and instead, he smiled warmly at the Advesary.

Reaching up to cup the nape of Lucifer's neck, Wilson again kissed the Lightbringer a caress that was not gentle, nor overly aggressive but deep and heated and an unspoken answer all of it's own.

The light brush of Lucifer's forehead against his own drew that rare, soft smile out of the mortal and he tilted his head just enough to lightly caress the corner of the Lightbringer's mouth with his own lips.

"Merely truthful," he murmured, enjoying the warmth and taste of Lucifer's flesh under his roaming kiss.

By now the music had stopped but that didn't keep Wilson from continuing to dance. Granted, it wasn't the quick steps that had so keenly matched the rhythm and tempo of the fiddle and voice, instead it was the closer, more intimate turns and actions that seemed to carry them both when the music was left only in their heads.

Wilson enjoyed that faint but seemingly genuine smile from Lucifer. The Advesary was always a handsome devil badbutunavoidablepun but that smile just brought something special out in his face and the mortal reached up to lightly touch the corners of the Lightbringer's mouth.

"Excellent answer," Wilson said in that soft, easy whisper that he knew carried perfectly to his partner's ears.

The touch of Lucifer's kiss to his fingers, drew that warm smile to his own lips and the fingers of his other hand fisted slightly in the folds of the Lightbringer's jacket.

A more relaxed evening indeed and Wilson laughed softly, the sound full of genuine pleasure as he realized the subtle difference. Fingers curled warmly around Lucifer's hand and the mortal followed him joyfully towards the stairs.
