Pizza Planet, Tuesday night, 7/10
Enjoying an afternoon of helping A.J. paint his room, then painting her hands blue and leaving her mark on his wall, both decided pizza was in order. Especially since her stomach hadn't quit growling.
Walking into the restaurant, Annette grinned over her shoulder at him, "Smells yummy. Come on, let's find a table near the jukebox. cause every pizza place has one right? I brought lots of quarters."
(Annette is here with A.J. but Pizza Planet is open for all your pizzaria needs! yo!)

"An ipod, you know? A portable audio player that plays music? You can clip it to your hip, carry it in your back pocket, shirt pocket, comes with tiny headphones..." Annette stared at him, "A.J.? What year are you from?"

A.J. suddenly looked like a puppy who knew that it was about to be hit in the nose with a rolled up newspaper for peeing on the carpet. He had a terrible, terrible feeling that he knew what was coming. Annette was going to tell him it was, like, the year 2525 or something.
"...Nineteen...ninty-five?" he said, as if he wasn't quite sure.

Pizza arrived and Annette grabbed a slice, grinning at him, "So? Whatcha thinking?"

"Right now?" he asked, then shook his head. "I'm thinking, uhhhh, two-thousand what?"

"That's fucking crazy."

"Totally whacked out crazy." She added to that whole f'ing thing. She thought about saying it too but then figured he'd look at her like she was crazy.
"You're turn at the jukebox!"

Ah, there it was. He looked over at Annette with a grin, "You said you wanted to dance, yeah? Even with a dork from the past?"

A.J.'s energy held to the end of the song, where he grinned as he dropped, breathless, back into the booth, futilely trying to blow his hair out of his eyes. "See? They didn't kick us out or anything..." He let out as much a laugh as his lungs would allow, waiting to get a little more caught up with them, before reaching for another slice of pizza.
All that awesome dancing wore him out.
