Around Fandom - All Sunday

The streets of Fandom had seen better days. While some of the dinosaurs slept, the scavengers and pack hunters had spent the night chasing whatever was in the street and harassing residents who were safely tucked away in barricaded buildings.

The sun rose over the island, revealing that some of the larger dinosaurs had moved on or had settled down. Some, however, particularly the smaller dinosaurs, were still on the rampage.

Just another lazy Sunday in Fandom.

"I'm okay," Seely said, propping himself up on his elbows and wincing. 'Okay' in this case being synonymous with 'not eaten'. "Your leg looks hurt."

"It's fine. I'm taking you to see doctors," Aravis said, wincing as she attempted to stand.

"But it's all bent funny," Seely pointed out, gasping as he staggered to his feet.

"Doesn't matter. Let's go get you help," Aravis said, trying really hard not to think about those wounds he was sporting.

She attempted to slip an arm under his so he could lean on her.

Yes, she had a broken leg. She thought she could just ignore it for now and then fix it later.

Seely leant as lightly as he could against her. "I can carry you."

No, he couldn't.

"No need," she replied, limping. "Come on."

"But, but, your leg is hurt." This was much more important than the gaping wounds in his front and back, yes.

"And you're bleeding because you undoubtedly did something stupid," Aravis snapped, "so come on. My leg is fine."

"I was looking for you," Seely said softly, shoulders slumped.

A little bit of Aravis's carefully constructed numbness to the situation crumbled. "...come on," she repeated more quietly, trying to hobble more quickly.
