FH Retirement Home - An Alternate Universe

The transport touched down in the park and an extremely happy Jamie Madrox raced out of it and headed toward what he thought was the school.

All the warnings that came from Pilot and the rest of the crew about wormholes, alternate universes, time travel, etc. went in one ear and out the other as soon as Jamie saw the familiar townscape and the school building ahead of him.

He burst through the door with a gleeful look on his face and shouted "I'm back!"

Only to see a bunch of old people sitting in the lobby staring at him. Some drooling.

"Okay. WTF?"

[OOC: General guidelines
1. There will be one retirement community post for everyone to ping into.
2. If your character decides to share a history with another character from the game please make sure you coordinate your stories ahead of time. Or.. well you can just be senile about it.
3. This will be an alternate universe future for your characters. In other words this is just a possibility of how your characters may end up, it doesn't have to be what you have planned for them.
4. This isn't like Wee!Tiny weekend where everyone wakes up as a kid. It is an AU Future that only Jamie sees and only occurs in this post.
5. And one detail when dealing with Jamie Madrox: He left at the beginning of this current summer term and never came back.

Senile, cackling, and still moving at entirely unsafe speeds, Grampie Lizowski zoomed (as much as one could zoom, what with the arthritis in his knee) across the lobby, booting it for the door.

Chloe went through the lobby as quickly as a woman her age could. If she didn't hurry, she was going to miss her afternoon soaps!

Emma glared at him. It was a slightly blurry glare, but heartfelt. She hated young people. They were so... young. "Hey, boy! Get me my drink!"

T.R. looked down at her food with a sharp frown. She knew her niece had the best intentions of suggesting this retirement home instead of just letting her flee off to her condo in the Rockies, but if these meals didn't start improving, she was going to reconsider Alice's top spot on her will....realllly.

Jim sat back and ate some Jello. He was smiling slightly. Evidently, that was some good Jello.

Across the table was a Jello mold with somebody's dentures in it.

Actually, that probably explained the smile better than the taste of the Jello.

There was plenty of swearing in Chinese. River wasn't pleased that she was now only allowed crayons, after several attempts, some of them successful, to stab people with pens. As her eyesight was failing somewhat this shouldn't be a problem, but River refused to accept this out of principle.

At least she still had the cane. Hopefully they wouldn't discover the pen she'd camouflaged as a hairpin.

Naminé was sitting in the corner of the Arts and Crafts room, staring out a window and painting the landscape before her.

She'd become much more skilled at art, in the years that she had had with which to practice. And landscapes were soothing.

Chad, who was looking amazingly like his abuello, right down to the suspenders and funny hat, was sitting quietly with the shuffle board shuffler thingy on his knees. This was usually what he did all day. Sit around and wait for someone to play him, but no one ever did because even in old age, he had strength problems and shuffled too hard all the time.

Surprise, surprise! There was Tori going at it, even in her old age. She was still pretty fit, even now.

Probably because Tori had been working on it since the first day there.

After years of training at the BPRD Liz had still continued going to the gym even in her old age. Even though some of the reason that she still kept training was to prove to Hellboy that being old didn't stop her from doing anything.
