Caritas- Wednesday, August 15

When Jaina got to the bar, there was a tall, hairy being staring down a zombie. "Can I help you?" she asked, going to duct tape the drummer's hand to the drumstick. It had been coming loose lately.

"Are they supposed to be here?" he asked in a low, gruff voice.

"Yeah. That's the band," Jaina said. "We're not open yet, but if you wait a couple minutes I can get you set up."

"Oh, don't worry about it. It's my night behind the bar," D'Argo said.

Jaina paused. "No, it's mine."

"Tonight's Wednesday?"

"Yeah."

"I was told to start on Wednesday."

"I'm killing him," Jaina muttered, and headed to the phone at the bar to make a quick call. Once that was done, she folded her arms in the face of the alien a whole foot and a half taller than her, and said, "I'm not leaving until I hear differently."

D'Argo matched her position and said, "Neither am I."

And that would be why anyone who showed up tonight might have two bartenders fighting over them on principle.

A priest, a rabbi, and a minister walked into the bar.

They were followed by a sad-looking horse.

Two NPCs walked into the bar. The second one seemed to be ducking.

A piece of string with frayed ends was tied into a knot. That was the only way he could get a drink.

A termite walked into the bar and asked Tino, "Is the bar tender here?"

A mushroom walked into the bar and ordered a round for everyone because he was such a fun-gi.
