Luke's Diner; Sunday [ 08/19 ]

For once, and probably only once, the special's board could actually be read at Luke's with A.J. running the shift. This was due to him still not very accustomed to being back to a human sort of situation after waking up this morning in his own skin. He was still too distracted by shiny objects and occasional noises (especially when the kitchen boys kept mentioning car rides) to draw much.

And, of course, today's special was hot dogs, corn dogs, and puppy chow.

Luke's is open!

At some point during his shift, A.J. might find a package (http://www.dyqatt.com/fh/rhinestonecollar.jpg) oh-so-sneakily left on the counter . . . that is, if "sneaky" could mean "with the sound of boots clunking away."

Hey, A.J. was easily distracted today, after all. So when he finished staring off into space about chasing bouncy red rubber balls, he turned around to see a package.

"Ooh. Package."

And then he opened it.

"Oh, someone is so going down...."

Purple wasn't even his color! Much. He liked earthtones, dammit.

There was a Jeff here, smiling brightly - if anxiously - and carrying some leftover omelette.

He left the store a few minutes later carrying sandwiches. Yay!
