J, GOB - Friday Evening

This time the meeting wasn't in a temple on a far off island.  This time the meeting was in J, GOB which was oddly closed to everyone else.  Pastries and strategies.  Best combination ever (according to Deadpool at least).

Aly waited until everyone had arrived before she started speaking.  She was pale and moving a bit slowly, but that was all she was going to admit to.  "I think it's obvious to everyone that we've come to the end of the line here.  Umbridge needs to go.  She needs to go now.  She's stopped even pretending to protect the students or listen to the teachers.  She been hurting them with things far worse than minor curses and jinxes.  It needs to be over.

"So  Anakin and I were thinking an all-out strike on her house.  We'll need a fairly strong strike team of the fighters here who want to participate.  Only adults.  We don't need to wrap the students or even the graduates up in this.  We were also hoping for a support group of those who might not be quite so focused on fighting to form a perimeter around the house, ward away students if they come close or pull people out of the way or to the clinic if someone gets hurt.

"Other than that, the meeting's open for suggestions or comments.  Please keep this under your hat  It's only going to be a day or so, everyone can keep their mouth shut that long."

Fraser took a seat at one of the tables, Diefenbaker sitting at his feet. Diefenbaker seemed more interested in the pastries than Fraser.

Roy wasn't hungry much, sticking to the caffeine mostly. Like Aly, he was moving carefully as well and there was a cut to his cheek that may have given away to something more. Not that he looked particularly open to talking about it.

Xander grabbed a bearclaw, but seemed more interested in tearing it into little pieces as he listened to the planning, than in actually eating it. For Xander? This means he's really twitchy. Earlier conversations weighing heavily on his mind? Possibly, yes.

Zoe had to wonder how many meetings like this she'd missed while she was being kept in the dark, but she was starting to understand why no one had come to her at first. She had claimed a table for herself and John, and was just waiting for him to return with something sweet.

AT some point, Joanna wandered in and sat in the back of the room. The opening of her new business was slow and she was bored. She was also highly intrigued by the plight of the common people in this town, and wanted to know what was in the works.

Cradling a cup of coffee in his hands, Wilson listened quietly to the planning. He knew he would be absolute shite for assisting on any of the actual beatdown surgical strike but he was beginning to get the sinking feeling that he might find the clinic a bit busy tomorrow night.

Fraser cleared his throat again and stood up.

"Before arriving here, I received a call from a student by the name of Hermione Granger," Fraser said, looking around. "She was called to the office today and, unfortunately, she went. She tells me that she was very bluntly threatened with death during that visit. If Umbridge has progressed to non disguised death threats, tomorrow will be exceptionally dangerous for everyone who is going into her house."
