Magic Box, Wednesday [ 09/12 ]
Last Wednesday Andrew had brought his didgeridoo to practice. This Wednesday, it was the pan flute.
He was actually quite good.
The Magic Box is open for all your dark and dastardly (or not) needs!

It wasn't that he was looking for anything in particular, really. He was just... looking. And if what he picked up today happened to be something that might irritate his father in the future, he'd be thrilled.

"Looking for anything in particular?"

He considered for a moment.
"He dislikes light. Something about nothing being quite adequate after he'd taken his fall. I really don't listen to him. Things are more pleasant that way."

There might have been an awkward little pause after Blackheart finished speaking as Andrew just continued to stare.
" ...Oh, right. Light. But I'm guessing something a little more intense than regular flames seeing as, um, well -- Hell and all that." He started to rummage through some various bottles on a shelf.

Stepping out for food, be back soon. :)no subject
He held the package out towards Blackheart so he could inspect the goods.

"And how does it work?"

"So, like what's the biggest most evil demon you've ever come across?" Andrew hadn't taken time to write down all the questions he wanted to ask Blackheart. Honest.
no subject
"Me," he said flatly. No, he wasn't full of himself. He was just better than his father, and so far as demons went? It wasn't easy to top the devil.
no subject
"Do you have any brothers or sisters?"
no subject
"No." There was certainly something hanging on after that 'no,' just itching to be said, but Blackheart certainly didn't seem inclined to share it without putting up a fight first.

Blackheart didn't clarify if he was directing that 'no' toward the notion of him being cute, if he was answering Andrew's question, or if, perhaps, it was supposed to be an all-encompassing 'no' and he was neither cute nor spoken for.
In any case, Andrew had certainly stunned the snarl right out of him, and he was staring, baffled, at the boy.

"Though I am dating someone. I have hopes that it might turn into something more serious. I mean, he's pretty significant to me already. We just haven't made it official, you know? His name's Neil. He's awesome. You should meet him! Maybe we can all go out or something..."

The social graces of humans never ceased to baffle him.

Andrew's hands were flailing. Dating was not his forte.
no subject
"We'll see."
Blackheart had never been on a date. There were reasons for this. Mostly they involved the fact that he had spent his entire life in Hell. There wasn't much dating in Hell.

"So what do you really look like?" Andrew's research had so far failed to come up with any reference to his little sib, let alone a picture.

Except that he did, all in a rush of blood-red eyes and fangs as his face seemed to melt away like cinders in a fire (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v406/Nanashigriff/Blackheart75copy.jpg), and he lunged forward with a sound that wasn't quite a scream and wasn't quite a roar.
He stopped short of actually biting Andrew's face off, of course. Killing the students here would only get him sent home, and he didn't want that.
His face smoothed back into its more human shape, and he took a step back again, looking about as smug as he felt.

Excellent. He'd gone and broken the boy.
Perhaps this meant that he didn't have to pay for the light powder...

Andrew took a deep breath, shook his head, and chuckled. "I'm so glad you're my friend. None of the demons back home where nearly as cool as you."
no subject
He'd take it. Even if it went without saying that he was far more 'cool' than any of the demons back home.
"Of course."

And so, when his 'big brother' had advanced on him, arms open wide, the demon really had no idea what in the world was going on. Simply that suddenly, there was a human with his arms wrapped around him, and it was not the end of the world, and he was very, very confused.
"Um."
no subject
Up close, Blackheart's scent was much more noticeable. It wasn't unpleasant, just different, and he could appreciate 'different'.
Andrew stepped back. "So is there anything else you were looking for today?"
no subject
He'd file that away for future reference.
"I think the powder is enough at the moment," he decided, somewhat eager to leave, lest he wind up wrapped awkwardly in the arms of a human yet again. He was going to have to find out what in the world that gesture was supposed to be.

Humans were weird. Blackheart had no doubt about this whatsoever. He pulled out some money, eager to pay for the powder so that he could get back to plotting ways to torment his father with it.

"Thanks for shopping at the Magic Box."
He really did quite like his little brother.
