Park [Sunday Evening]
After his library shift, Lee decided to walk through town for no other reason than he didn't feel like going back to the dorms right yet. He made a stop in the park, tilting his head up towards the sky and shutting his eyes
[Preplayed with...myself. Lee's still in the park should anyone wish to chat and the park is totally open for other things as well!]
| John, meanwhile, found himself in the park just because he thought he might be able to hide there so he didn't have to leave Fandom ever. And that's when he saw... "...Lee?" |
|
| Lee's eyes snapped open and he turned to look at the new arrival. This guy was looking at him with something akin to barely contained happiness. "I'm not the Lee you remember," Lee said, hoping to get it all out of the way right up front. |
|
| "God, Lee, I didn't think I'd ever see you again," John said, closing the distance between them and wrapping up Lee in a huge, crushing hug. | |
| And now he was being hugged. What. The. Frak. "Look, I'm not the Lee you remember! Stop hugging me!" |
|
| John thumped Lee on the back, still barely able to believe that his best friend was back in town after so long. "Yeah, yeah, home's changed you, you're back to live life to the fullest but you're still Lee! And your arms are still awesome!" | |
| "That's not it!" Lee grumbled, trying to disentangle himself from this insane man. "And stop looking at my arms like that!" | |
| "Dude, I've seen a lot more of you than just your arms," John said, clapping Lee's face between his hands and shaking like Lee was a rattle. "You're back! I can't believe it! You've got to come to the wedding!" | |
| Lee blanched at the first comment and wondered just how well this other guy new the other Lee. Might as well ask, right? "You and me were...?" |
|
| "The closest two guys could be!" John filled in, grinning wide and slinging an arm across Lee's shoulders. "We did everything together. Never could separate us." | |
| "Oh gods," Lee muttered and rubbed his face. "What did we do together?" | |
| "Man, that time at home really fried your brain," John said, frowning. "We did everything together. My favorite was when we played hide the toast!" | |
| "We played WHAT?" Oh gods, he was never ever telling his father this. | |
| "That's a good one, Lee. I know that even time away doesn't dull that memory," John said and clapped his shoulder. "Look, come to the wedding and we'll play it with my fiancee!" | |
| "Are you serious?" Lee blinked, trying to figure out what the frak kind of marriage this guy was getting into. "Won't that piss her off?" | |
| "Not if we don't leave her out!" John let go of Lee's shoulder and came to stand in front of him, both hands on Lee's shoulders. "It's more fun with three anyway." | |
| Lee Adama squeaked. He would deny this to anyone else but he that squeak could not be contained. "...right." | |
| "Awesome!" John shook Lee's shoulders once more before stepping back. "Look, I gotta go, get back to the little lady. I'm sending you an invite. Hide the toast is ON like Donkey Kong!" And with one more wave, one more hug, John ran off back towards the hotel to tell Aeryn the good news. |
|
| Lee just stared. And made a note to possibly change his name. To something like Ignatius. What the frak. |

Naturally, she jogged over, figuring she'd say hi to whomever it was.
And then she pinched herself to make sure she wasn't hallucinating. "Lee???"

"Lee?"

Maybe she'd be sane.

So lost, in fact, that he didn't notice the pale lurky guy until he bumped right into him.
Peter stumbled back a few steps then looked sheepish. "Oh, man. Sorry, Seely. Didn't see you there."

"Not dating," Angel said. "Don't have a girlfriend." Any words starting with 'B' could be kept well out of the conversation. "Not Seely."
