Bart had moved on to the more advanced dances.

Without a partner.

Heaven help whoever he dances with.

Today's Squishy flavors: Grape Judas, Red Door, Painting it Black

While he dances about much too fast. Boy was born to do the quickstep.

Jim walked into T&C on the search for something specific, but couldn't help but stop and wonder about the dancing. "Excuse me," he said.

Bart stopped suddenly in mid dance step, standing balanced precariously on one foot. "Hi!" He said brightly and was then suddenly next to Jim. "WelcometoTurtle&Canary,I'mBart!"

"Hi," Jim said, taken by surprise by the speed. "I'm Jim. Did you happen to have fun at the dance on Friday?" It was a complete guess.

"The girl I had to dance with threatened to shock me," Bart replied immediately.

"Yikes," Jim said. "Are you okay?"

Bart nodded. That was, like, weeks ago at this point. Who even cared about that? "Want to buy a squishie?"

It was all Turtle's influence there.

Jim appreciated the fact that there were still people in this town who could surprise him. "Um, no, thanks. I was wondering, do you carry little trophies? Maybe the ones with little tiny people on them bowling, or playing baseball or something?"

Bart frowned, trying to remember if he'd seen any.

Then disappeared.

And reappeared. "I don't see any around, but I can ask Turtle to order some."

Jim wasn't going to ask about the disappearing. You just had to be used to it here. "Okay, thanks. Offhand, do you have any idea about how long that might take?"

Bart shook his head sheepishly. "No, sorry." Then thought about it. "I think we have a sports store in town..."

"You know, you're right. I'll have to go there later," Jim said, realization dawning on him. "I'll tell you what, still have Turtle order the trophies for me. I can always find use for trophies."

Bart nodded enthusiastically, almost too quickly to be seen. "I will! Check back next week, we should have some by then!"

If not... Bart was very creative and could attempt to make one with spoons and glitter and a lot of glue.

"Thanks for your help," Jim said. "And I will have that Squishy. Painting It Black, please."

"Coming right up!" Bart went and poked Bob to get to work on the squishie making. And it really was black. The dingbot really did good work. "I'm not sure what it tastes like though," Bart said, looking at it from different angles as he handed the drink over.

"Hopefully not paint," Jim said, taking the drink cautiously. He tried it. "Actually, it's not that bad. Thanks."

Jim paid and heading towards the door.
