Mauvaise Chance Office/Lobby, Monday

The office is open, the signs are out and as glittery as ever, and Xander is sitting behind the counter with his laptop open. Practicing copious abuse of the delete key, it would appear.

With time to kill between classes, Isabel stopped at the Perk and picked up coffee and pumpkin muffins for herself and the best roomie ever. Balancing two cups and the bag of muffins, she opened the door and grinned.

"Long time no see."

"Boston? Bangladesh? Same difference," she smiled, holding out a coffee. "I bring caffeine and baked goodness for you."

"It's better then Burbank?" Isabel chuckled "But still lonely without you." Even if Wyatt had been spending the occasional night.

She took a sip of her coffee and pushed the bag across the counter. "Pumpkin muffins. Appropriately season snack food."

"No way. They're way too rich and moist," she promised. "They've got to be loaded with nice artery clogging butter."

Mel had been a little lax at checking in woth her watchers lately. Avoiding a certain issue? Mel? Nah. Couldn't be.

The bos of jelly donuts? Certainly not a bribe of any sort.

"More like I have news and that I'm hoping the joy of Jelly donuts will save me from a verbal lashing and looks of disappointment," Mel said with a wary look on her face. "News I probably should have told you when it happened."

"You know that creepy dreamy thing I was supposed to have but never got?" Mel said after taking a big breath. "I've got it now. Only Harth came along for the ride."

"Something must have happened when Dawn slayed Harth," Mel said looking serious. "I guess the whole connection thing reconnected and since Harth had the connection before me he's now... connected."

He'd meant to come by earlier, really he had, but somehow the entire morning slipped away before he even made it out of bed. But he's here now, with two cups of coffee even.

"Hey," he says with a smile, dropping in to a chair behind the counter.

"What's up? I brought coffee," Bridge says unneccessarily. There's a lack of anything snack-like to accompany them, even though much like arriving earlier in the day, that had been a part of the original plan. But the idea of food was... strangely unappealing, for some reason. He'd probably just overdone it at brunch yesterday. Even though that was over 24 hours ago and he hadn't eaten since. Yes.

"You're... trading Tetris?" Bridge blinks, confused.

"...Oh," Bridge says sheepishly. Sure, he's not the best at detecting sarcasm, but he *really* should've picked that one up. "Well, uh. Shirtless is a good look for you?" he tries.
