Luke's Diner; Sunday [ 11/18 ]
Hey, it was Sunday. He was here in Fandom again, so why not swing by the old dig that added to the long line of counter-jockeying that A.J. would spend his life doing waiting for his works to really pick up? Mosey on down, hop behind the counter and see what's changed in the last couple of decades.
...Which, apparently, wasn't much at all. "Huh," A.J. commented, looking around, and then...
"Oooh, special's board." Delightfully blank and waiting. Time to get to work.
Luke's is open.

She frowned for a moment, and then sighed and gave A.J. a wry smile. "Something must have happened to my memory, I guess. I honestly woke up this morning thinking I was sixteen, and that it was just another Sunday at Fandom High. So I'm not sure I've got anything I can tell you at the moment. You could tell me about everything you've been doing, though?"
Glancing over A.J.'s shoulder for a moment, a mischievous look crept into Beauty's eyes. "You are going to make me a milkshake, aren't you?"

She craned her neck a little to watch what A.J. was doing. "You do remember how to run that machine, right?" she teased.
Re: Talk to A.J. -- 11/18
Or perhaps he knew he wouldn't have forgotten because he was still a service industry bitch. Not that Beauty needed to know that, of course.
Re: Talk to A.J. -- 11/18
That was really annoying, and she wondered if some magic had been done to her, before sending her back, so that she wouldn't be able to talk about the Beast and whatever life was like with him.
At some point, it would probably sink in that Beauty was not, in fact, twenty years older. But apparently not for a while yet.

She hesitated, and added in a softer voice, "Were we able to write?"
Re: Talk to A.J. -- 11/18
Really, really, really nice...
Re: Talk to A.J. -- 11/18
The more she was around him, though, the more he became like the A.J. she knew. "I'll try and write more. Maybe...sometime I might even be able to manage a visit to your city or something. See some of the artwork you've been doing lately."

"How did you end up working here today, anyway?" she asked.
