Café Fina, Monday [Nov 19]
Even with all the weirdness of the previous week, the plague and then the time shifting stuff, Cassandra had made a commitment Fina so she wasn't going to miss her shift. In a way, she was sort of looking forward to it. It gave her something to do, after all.
She snagged the specials board and took it back to the kitchen with her when she arrived. Then she got into a long discussion about her proposed special for the day. It wasn't that they couldn't do it, of course (this was Fina, after all), but that it was so... plebeian. It was a simple idea, but lacked any sort of understated elegance. Still, in the end, they had to admit that Cassandra's idea was at least a very tasty choice, and that won them over

Cassandra stood looking out over the cafe with a grin on her face. Maybe she was starting to get the hang of all this.

Today's Special

Speak to Cassandra
Re: Speak to Cassandra
But she had yet to sit down as she couldn't help but eye the walking dishes warily.

Renee glanced over at the kid, frowning at her too. That couldn't be the same kid, right? "You-- You couldn't talk before."

mullet and all. "Cass? Cassandra! How goes the cafe business?" he asked when he spotted her.He didn't think it was a good idea to mention the part where they were married, divorced, and she hated his guts slightlyRe: Speak to Cassandra
Probably a good thing since the universe in which that happened would be so weird as to make her head explode.Re: Speak to Cassandra
It worked out most of the time, but when they started fighting and throwing things? It got messy.Re: Speak to Cassandra
