Trooper Station: Wednesday
Anyone walking into the station would probably note that Dale is sitting on top of his desk cross-legged in a meditative pose.
Well... meditative if you count the fact that he's talking to his tape recorder. Again.
"Diane, it is Wednesday morning approximately 9:25 am. Once again we appear to have someone on the island attacking innocent people. The felon goes by the name Angelus. If memory serves me correctly 'Angelus' is a devotion used in the Catholic church in memory of the Incarnation in Christianity. Several people have been brutally attacked and one girl is currently in the hospital, Miss Willow Rosenberg. If you remember Diane, Miss Rosenberg was one of the first people to greet me here in Fandom as well as giving me a lovely fruit basket which contained six bananas, five apples, a pineapple and a tin of cookies. I've sent an order of flowers over to the hospital along with a card personally written to me. Remind me to tell you how much that was.
We've increased the amount of troops to help patrol the streets. Our only hope is that we can catch the monster before someone else can get hurt. My only regret is that in all the disaster scenarios that Detective Montoya and I had worked on, not one of them dealt with a single maniac preying on our town. I assure you that will not be the case the next time this happens."
Dale clicked off the recorder and hopped down off his desk giving his legs a little stretch.
Right before clicking the recorder back on again.
"Diane, it struck me again earlier this morning... there are two things that continue to trouble me. And I'm not just speaking as an officer of the law but also as a human being: What really happened to Jimmy Hoffa and how exactly was the Gambino organization involved?"
The troopers were either too busy or too used to Dale to notice his antics.

So when she set the early Christmas present (http://images.jupiterimages.com/common/detail/64/82/23038264.jpg) down on Cooper's desk, she did so with certain amount of somberness.
Wouldn't even have brought them in if they hadn't been perishable.

And then his face became one of rapture.
"Oh. My. That is a truly pleasurable experience. To what do I owe the honor?"

Dale went behind his desk and pulled out a package of coffee (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kopi_Luwak) and handed it to Renee. "This had arrived the other day but I didn't have a chance to wrap it yet."

"I'll make sure to brew some for us later."

"Outside of patrolling for insane vampires, do you have any holiday plans?"

Evening...
She dropped the man on his head in front of the troopers and let him fall to the ground.
"You guys were looking for a psychotic vampire that was attacking everyone?"
Mel gestured to Angelus's unconscious body.
"Merry fucking Christmas."
Re: Evening...
Okay, this hadn't quite been expected, but... better that letting him hurt someone else.
"Vampire?" She asked, unhooking the catch on the holster at her hip. "Lemme guess, cuffs are gonna just be a waste of time."

"It's in the basement, so that shouldn't be a problem, kid." Renee, of course, kept her gun out and ready just in case the girl was wrong about him being out.
She looked Mel over. "I guess I should just be glad you're not in a mask."

She nodded toward her desk, snagging the coffee to pour for the kid. "Wanna tell me what happened?"
Re: Evening...
Re: Evening...
Offering the coffee, She nodded, taking notes mentally. "The girl safe? At the clinic?"

Re: Evening...
Ralph? So not happy to be hauling a psychotic vampire downstairs. He better get pie for this.
She sighed at the running away thing. And made a not to find out who it was. "I should thank you for this, but mostly I'd like to yell for going off an pulling a stupid stunt."
