Cher hadn't heard the radio the last few days, more preoccupied with thoughts of getting the hell out of here at the semester's end, so she figured she didn't need the usual radio gossip now. Which was why she was picking out the things she still needed to buy to take back with her instead of freaking out.

Jaye had been on her way to go pick up all the very necessary and important supplies, such as both No-Doz and whatever the opposite of No-Doz was, depending on whether she thought she should be sleeping or not, and also many kinds of water guns, but when she saw the blonde through the window, she had to stop in for one specific, much more important reason.

Walking in, she greeted her with, "Hey, you, I'm taking radio tonight."

Jaye looked behind her to see no one else in the store. "You do realize there's a psychotic murdering bloodsucking vampire on the loose, right?" she said.

Cher was smart enough to put two and two together, and then to ask, "And you want to go out at night to take over?"

"Uh huh," she said simply. "So you stay in tonight, and I'll do the dangerous stuff, how's about that? Good thanks."

And then she was out the door before Cher could tell her no.
