Groovy Tunes, Tuesday
Melody spent much of the morning working on a large sign on hot-pink poster board. When she was done, it read:
HELP WANTED.
GET THE GROOVIEST JOB IN TOWN!
DAY & WEEKEND SHIFTS AVAILABLE.
She took her perch on the stool behind the counter, occasionally glancing at the sidewalk in hopes the perfect employee would appear.
Groovy Tunes was open.

The color of the sign made it difficult to ignore as she walked past the store. She'd been thinking about trying to find some kind of work she could do to earn money or whatever she needed to get by, and wondered if this place would work. The only way to find out seemed to be to go inside and take a look around.

"Oh, and I'm Melody and I own the store."

"I am Teyla," she said. "It's a pleasure to meet you. I must admit, I have never worked in a place like this before, but I am a very fast learner. I've managed to find myself without any classes on Wednesdays," she added. The idea of classes was still taking some getting used to on its own.

"It's not really a hard job, just keep the CDs organized, sort the mail, wait on customers if they come in. Oh, and play with the cats." She gestured to the three tabbies who had gathered near her. "This is Mopsy, this is Flopsy, and this is Cottontail."
