Wellspring Arms & Meditation Center, Wednesday

Ino was sleepy. Ino really thought this whole working Wednesday thing kinda sucked. She was used to being able to stay up late on Tuesday nights. Honestly. Flipping the sign to Open almost absently, Ino surveyed ~~her kingdom~~ the shop and very deliberately rearranged several of her plants before sighing, and going to find the broom.

Once the store was clean enough for her liking Ino curled up in Cable-san’s chair with a notebook and a gardening magazine. Because, clearly, flowers made everything better. Even working.

Wellspring Arms is Open.

Lana showed up, after a light lunch, to have her lesson.

Ino blinked, looking up from her magazine, "It's already that time?"

Lana smiled at her. "I think so."

"Where did the morning go?" Ino wondered, as she folded the magazine over her notebook and stretched. "Wow."

"I had class," Lana said with a smile. "So that's where mine went."

"I had, uh, flowers?" Ino looked sheepish, "Time's definitely flying today."

"Flowers?" Lana asked curiously.

Ino grinned and leaned in conspiratorily, "All part of my plan to take over the shop." Well, at least until Cable-san said something to the contrary. "I'm used to being around a lot of flowers - my family runs a flowershop back home - so, yeah. I've been deciding what I want in here for spring."

Not, mind, that winter seemed to be stopping her from having quite a few plants already in the store.

She smiled. "My aunt used to run a flower shop, so I've always loved them myself."

"They're very soothing to work with," Ino said, "and they're so pretty that I don't get why some people don't like them." Pause. "Well, unless they've got allergies but that's a completely different thing altogether."

Lana grinned. "Definitely a different thing. I hope someday to have my own house where I can plant lots of flowers."

"Loads of flowers," Ino agreed, "the more colour the better. Come on, let's get going."

"How're your classes going so far?" Ino asked, as she entered the meditation room.

"Really well," Lana said, going right into a series of very intense stretches. "I'm having a ball! How are yours going?"

"Best. Semester. Ever." Ino told her, bouncing slightly. "I mean, okay, I haven't had my last class yet. But it should be totally awesome."

"Well, it's my last semester here," Lana said, "so I'm really hoping this one is great."

That would be Ino pouting right there. "You're leaving too?" She asked, dismayed. "Why does almost everyone I like have to be graduating soon?"

"Well, I'm planning to stay through the summer sessions if that's any help," Lana said with a smile.

"That does help," she admitted, "but wow is that depressing to think about." Ino shook her head. "I refuse to think about this right now. Summer is a long way away."

"It definitely is a long way away," Lana said. "Anything can happen between now and then."

"And 'anything' had better be for the good," Ino said mutinously, "or I'll be having a few words with somebody about it." No, she didn't know who she'd complain to about it. But yes, she really would complain.

Lana laughed. "I hope it will be!"

Only with permission from Cable, and most of you won't have that.
