Crates and crates of Gilbert and Sullivan operettas that had arrived for reasons unknown to Melody -- perhaps one of the cats had ordered them? -- so she was on the phone, trying to get the distributor to take back at least a few.
"C'mon," she whined. "I could make everyone in town a shirt from CDs of Mikado and there'd still be more than I could sell ... ohmigod. I could make everyone in town a shirt from Mikados!"
Excited by the idea, she hung up and began assembling a sort of CD chain mail.
